I was playing on Duelingnexus. Playing lightsworn and I got cooked by a Fiendsmith, Azamina, Snake eyes, Diabellstar deck. Konami needs to fix this fucking issue of decks being able to splash decks like this. Went against like 15 interruptions

You can also use Sacred Azamina and then chain link 2 Wanted to search Diabellstar, resolving both adding Diabellstar and then sending Wanted from the field to summon Rhea Silvera. Broken.

Like everything has to be an omni-negate for anything that also dodges target effects or skill drain effects and makes you go plus if summoned or died. If it's not like this, it gives breathe space to players for skillful counterplay through smart decision making & deck building and that's not good for modern competitive standards, players must draw the out, it's more fun this way. At this point I just want disruptive handtraps to go. In a vacuum, I don't have a problem with what SE can accomplish, even with Azamina, provided the Charmys can actually resolve and stock up my hand accordingly. A 15 card hand filled with breakers and engine against and uninterrupted combo board feels fair to me. The only issue I have with the format is this additional layer of the handtrap minigame. Especially if you consider how fast combo decks nowadays just run out of steam, if you can spend one turn equalizing the gamestate and establish an advantage from there, usually it's your win, at least from my experience. That's one thing I liked about Tear Format as well, Tearlament usually was/is just all gas, and your main objective was to stop their ressources for just a turn or two, so it makes for a way more interactive match than just comparing opening hands for handtraps.

The crazy part is that this whole archetype is just straight up a generic 1.5 card omni negate that's accessible with 9 starters. No normal summon required, no restrictions, just 1 main deck brick (the fusion spell). The entire engine also recurs itself every single turn just like Adventurer token, the continuous spell sets itself back and the fusion spell shuffles the used fusion monster to ED and summons it again.

Its open only if you dont play fiendsmith, otherwise there is no space even in WF. You need 6 syncros at bare min, then 4 fiendsmith ed slots and 2 azamina, and this the bare bare min and you need like 1 sp as the best utility card so 2 slots left.. Also azamina is like fiendsmith its good in every thing so its good in both se and wf but se is a better deck so.. Also i would argue its better in se as deception puts you oss in gy aka se ash in hand while with wf you only have some spells to send as synergy (spoiler its the same sinergy as with se). But the critique about the SE ed is 100% correct and i totally agree that if there is 1 thing thats actually gatekeeping SE power level is the ed space

If Flamburge gets banned and everything else limited to 1, Snake-Eye will still have 14 1 card combos that get you full Fiendsmith combo plus 2 bodies plus Temple. Even without the Fiendsmiths, Snake-Eye will be able to end on Temple pluse Amblo and Princess in gy plus Apollousa, or just any strong link monster. So the opinion that Snake-Eye will get hit on the banlist so we don't have to worry about this new archetype just shows how little you've actually practiced with this new support and the SE cards

In both Na and Eu wcq it got 31/64 in top cut. I dont know your definition of t0 but its clearly not ok of a situation. In ocg the deck has consistency hits so its not at full power and you also have maxx c to sack it sometimes (in tcg you can sack it only with shifter or you need 3 hts on average). The real problem with SE its now decks play 15+ hts wich is not fun gameplay honestly. Hopefully the upcoming banlist will kill SE completely so we dont have to deal with this monstruosity of FS SE azamina. Fiendsmith and azamina engines are too broken and togheter benefits SE too much, i bet fiendsmith azamina will be a top tier deck even if they kill SE

Not sure but I think the main reason SE is not tier 0 by the definition of tier 0 isn't because it's not the most effective strategy to pick by far, but because a lot of people refuse to use it out of disgust. Even the world champion Josua Schmidt said that the deck is not appealing to him and he's looking to play something else at the events even tho it's less good. Maybe many players had the same mindset
