I agree but is unfortunate Pak took advantage of his laid back nice nature. Game 1 Pak was doing stuff only because he knew his opponent had a Chaos Angel because he showed him. S:P banishing the Bystial so he couldn't Synchro it was kinda slimy.

Tales isn't very good. The deck loses hard to Droll and if you have a spellcaster on the field to activate Tales, you already have your engine rolling. The only reason why you would need Tales is if you have Elzette on the field (if her effect is negated) and you hard opened Tales. It's very situational that I never liked the card myself too

i can't understand why people (i'm talking in general here) don't play bystials instead of upstart and some other stples With bystials you can do a lot of things, a grater endboard (dragoon, dis pater, regained, diabell, and also the counter trap visas if you play amritara). I think it's the better version of runick ww, but i can't understand why the majority of people don't play that version Someone can explain?

People prefer different play styles. Me personally, I play bystials in my build. But there could be others that see them as bricks where if they would have just had that upstart it could have drew them into a runick card

Amritara is not duable since u need a lvl2 tuner which u don't have. Anyway, dis pater/chaos etc. are not optimal since it takes out 1/2 slots from the already tight extra. And, ofc, cutting 3 upstart for 3 bystials lessen the consistency

So is viable, i'll test it and i love have that counter trap And yes, you have less consistency, but you can do more stuffs to make a better board (without bystial your board perish to a single evenly match for example). Also you have better recovery and also draw +1 every turn is a lot helpful Also, if you are going second against branded you take puppet lock, with bystial you have a small chacne (this is an extra)

I have a lot of extenders with bystials, so most times i could do amritara wasn't a minus. don't you want to play amritara? don't play it. But thisdoesn't change everything else I said about playing bystials. Your thesis is based only on amritara, you have shown me no reason to prefer not playing bystials so much. also, there are so many possibilities in the deck that saying "it's not the deck for you" just because of a different choice, I think is nonsense I'm not saying not playing them is bad, I'm just trying to understand the benefit of not playing them and playing other stuff, so..

Others might have missed it but is unfortunate you took advantage of the round one opponent's laid back nice nature in game one. Hold up, did Pak just try and cheat the branded player out of using Mercourier? LOL Skill Drain definitely only negates cards face up on the field. It doesn't change their names XD

The issue is that Skill Drain is already negating Silvera's effect. So, Mercourier could not be activated at that time to negate Silvera's effect. Pak is still screwed, however, because his plan is obviously to activate Silvy in the graveyard to get Silvera off the field and resolve the effect. Mercourier could be chained here instead.
