The wind speed is important for functiong of the o type turbie at lower speeds the generation would be low an uneconical . Very few cites wold meet the required wind speed. Anyway even if few locations are using these equipment , this would add to renewable resorces.

Jest taki wzór który pozwala wyliczyć moc w watach strugi wiatru, wystarczy podstawić prędkość wiatru i średnicę turbiny, gęstość powietrza przyjmuje się jako stałą i wyjdzie że jeden metr kwadratowy to 200 wat (o ile dobrze pamiętam, nie chcę mi się teraz liczyć) dla wiatru 5m/s,. To siła (moc strugi) wiatru którą należy skorygować o współczynnik Betza ( około 59%), o ten współczynnik trzeba pomniejszyć wcześniejszy wynik. Wówczas uzyskujemy wynik maksymalny, dla super najwydajniejszej turbiny (najlepsze osiągają sprawność około 0,4 tj. 40%). A jeszcze trzeba skorygować o sprawność turbiny a potem odjąć straty na przetwarzaniu prądu z AC na DC i jeszcze raz na AC. Jak kiedyś liczyłam to wyszło 52 waty (max) dla turbiny która ma 1 metr kwadratowy, nie licząc strat na zamianie prądu na stały i zmienny.

Instead of large turbines, a network of smaller turbines can be placed in a frame, it becomes easier from transportation to maintenance.👍👍👍

Basically a variable pitch ducted fan in non wind application. Not new. Just pop it out of your large size quadcopter and attach on a rotating pole. Added cost in build and maintenance offsets the benefit of slightly higher efficiency.

That is 1KW with a wind speed of 28MPH. The average wind speed in San Diego is 6MPH, yielding 45W. My idea of low wind speed is different than theirs.

The issue is that batteries are expensive. A wind turbine, operating overnight, only needs to run at 300 watts to cover most of our energy overnight. That is 0.3 Kwh per hour

@@joezephyr Close to the ground, the wind blows EXTREMELY gusty. You never have a ‘constant’ 300 W! In addition, solar batteries cost drastically less today. For 1500$ you can get a 10kw battery!

nice advertisment but it should be better to explain what this wind speed is. 12.5 ms = x 3600 =45 Kmh we call that wind power 4.5 to 5 you are joking? we call that a weth dream the product have to do it but the story must sell it.

That’s not true solar does collect on cloudy days just not nearly as much but when when it’s a cloudy day there is still light outside
