Elbow attack! Great stuff here! "There's no witchcraft here, or voodoo, or black magic." Once again Kaspa teaches but reveals his sense of humor.

Awesome! More weapons to add to my OTB games. I love that this, along with the Lolli and Ba6 trap are all based in the Italian opening...especially since I am an e4 player. Continued gratitude for the razor sharp teachings.

Good video. Against the kind of opponent who would play 5. ... Nxd5, this could be a very powerful psychological weapon. They've steeled themselves for a mating attack that they're confident in holding off and coming out a piece ahead, but all of a sudden they're up against an opponent who's just calmly and methodically working towards a winning endgame. And then they are more apt to panic and make a blunder that allows you to win faster. Oh and almost forgot: The key move in the puzzle is Qxf7 mate.

Wow, more attacking ideas based on intentionally hanging the g5 knight which is why the Fried Liver always takes a move to advance the d pawn first. Leads to some pretty complex concepts which are not obvious are sound. Is the attack against a wandering king in the center worth a whole rook (potentially)? Does Black have enough resources to keep from being mated? I don't know if this video's content is conclusive but opens up new considerations that need investigating. Very cool.

@@kaspachessofficial Could well be, though it depends on player style. Some players thrive on middlegame attack; such players are better off playing the Fried Liver, but such players would probably be still better with the Lolli. Other players prefer to hold off in the middlegame and methodically play for a winning endgame; the Boiled Liver is perfect for them. Biggest problem with it is lack of opportunity for use; above a certain level most players when playing Black will play 5. ... Na5 rather than 5. ... Nxd5. Or, scarier, play the Traxler. A good video on how to play the White side of the Traxler would be very helpful, BTW (apologies in advance if you've already done one and I missed it).

I used to play this as white. I considered 7, ,,, Qf6 as the mainline to which I played 8. Qxf6 gxf6 Bxc6+ bc6, and I play against the weak pawns. However, the mainline response to Ng5 (d5 exd5 Na5) caused me too many headaches.
