Hushbringer actually would work here because it prevents death triggers as well, so the bullies wouldn't untap.

@@TheSpikeFeeders It's an easy mistake to make since it's rarely the relevant text on hushbringer. I only know it off the top of my head because it shuts down my Muldrotha death triggers loops.

Hushbringer doesn't work either, it's not a death trigger, death triggers say "When this object dies/is put into a graveyard/is destroyed/buried" etc and this has special text called an intervening if check, even with a Rest In Peace in play, you would still take 7 damage from bombshell even though it's exiled because it was still sacrificed and it's not a death trigger.

@@MegaBsterling it's not the 7 damage you're preventing, you're stopping the Thornbite staff from untapping the Bullies, preventing them from looping the ability.
