Ok, so I had a crazy dream last night. It was for a new Isaac character I'm calling Chaos Apollyon. You had 100% chance to shoot parasatoid tears, but they only shoot spiders. No inherent luck up, normal speed, a tear multiplier (it can go up to six), and a 90% multiplier of damage. You control the spiders like eye of occult, they home in on enemies along side your tears. With birthright, they formation into a circle, and home in on enemies themselves. Now, at the beginning of each new type of floor (basement/dross/downpour, caves/flooded caves/ashpit/mines, etc), you get a chaos spider you can pick up. It can't do contact damage, but they run away from enemies and can't take projectile damage. It has three hits of damage, and if it dies it explodes, potentially near you. Your goal is to take it to the second floors boss room, where, depending on the amount of health it has left, it will give you three, two or one chaosed items (as the name implies.) If anyone wants to make this a character you can go do that. I would make it so certain tear effects that replace parisatoid don't anymore, like brim, moms knife, technology items, etc. I was just so excited to share this idea, but I have a bad computer and no modding skills. Anyone can go wild with this and make it real, you have my permission

I love Deepest Labs so much. It's such a delightful recontextualization of Isaac in a unique direction. So many interesting reimaginings of enemies, areas, and effects... I especially love when they go virtual, the Womb variants have such fun vibes, and the Corpse is somehow even MORE intimidating and awesome to me, it might be my favorite. And what they did with Gehenna I did not see coming but it is so wonderful. AND THE MUSIC! Sure, some tracks are from other games, but the work Mogumi and Millieamp did for this thing is FANTASTIC! And even the foreign tracks have unique layers! I feel like it needs work in a few spots, and there are so many mods that I feel have so much potential if they were made to work with this, but I still love it so, so much.
