I'm a Z rank and I recently fought a guy who had an extremely good combo, which took me down more than 2 life bars. Unfortunately I didn't record it, but he did it with Cell, and what he did was that after a long combo, he would do the hit that would flip you to the opposite side, then he would push me a little bit away, and he would start throwing charged ki balls at me, thanks to this I couldn't defend myself in any way and he would empty his entire energy bar throwing the charged energy balls. In my 200 games that I've played online, I've never seen a combo that good, and I'm sure that it will be the new "meta" as soon as the other players learn that move. Of course he defeated me easily, even though I am top 20 in the global ranking

bro, give me ur steam friend id, ill beat ur ass with 99 combo and u will have 0 chances to even move, maybe at the start of the fight for a bit. Game is already broken my friend, it's not skill depended anymore. Idk how many people knows the trick, but if I can do 99 combo every single time I play with every single character (stronger the easier, but not even that, faster the easier, like kidbu or gogeta or ginyu guy, with hercule impossible to do). I discovered it by a mistake, just by trying some random stupid shit and it works every time, with giants they can't even more for a sec, with others they have a small chance to counter you with explosive wave (bcs none of the other counters or blocks works). We tested it with my mate, it works every time, so if we discovered it, it's a matter of time someone else will. Bandai needs to fix this, but I will not be the one to report it. XD I can send screens from a multiple online fights with 99 combo each time, any character I play, people just ragequitting mostly. Come on tough guy. :D

It’s really not that hard to do/defend lol. You just probably haven’t practiced that form of thought much. At Z rank especially it all dials into first hit received and revenge counter. And practically any basic combo at Z rank is 15k and up to the players who didn’t get boosted to Z lol. By boosted I mean, entirely different skill leveling per match due to server overlap. Which is why 90% of players who’ve reached Z actually found it easy. That’s why when you fight someone actually “good” you’re like “wtf was that even” But yeah you can’t reorient with ki blasts hitting you, especially in the back. Every combo variation has a startup stagger, which is how block delay enters the fray. The stagger extensions are purely your main combo heavys, which re-initiate startup stagger. Because ki blasts have their own combo timing, you can only chain them once in any given combo that doesn’t involve skill paralysis. If you use skill paralysis, you can land additional volleys. And they act as a free combo extension. Again, twice over for stagger when landing in the back. From the sounds of it, he was actually gracious to not further extend the combo on you. (If he even knew how himself) You can land 3-4 stagger seperations, before push continue with ki wave to ki blast volley, followed by 4th stagger, to dragon rush follow up, vanish combo, knockback and dragon finish follow up. There isn’t really a “meta” combo, it’s more so, there’s a penultimate combo per stagger extension. Once you initially learn how your opponent likes to defend, you then apply the one(s) that continuously catch your opponent off guard. Which is basically what he did to you from the sounds of it.

Better tech is if you throw off a low sweep, it resets the combo altogether. So you can gut punch, low sweep, grab, dash behind, gut punch, grab, dash behind, low sweep, grab, and so on. If you do this in sparking mode, it’s guaranteed a win.

If you need to spam cheese in order to win, you'll always be a loser unfortunately. The true sign of winning in this game is when you go toe to toe against much higher DP characters or get a lot of rematch. If nobody wants to rematch you its because you're unfun to fight against. I noticed how theses types of players will never want to rematch if you beat them, they are both bad winners and bad losers at the same time.

Here is the thing from 3:44 The combo is nice and it looks nice, but you can vanish like twice to get out of the combo, so if you read it. You only get 5 hits in or if someone fails the first vanish you can vanish the second one and that gives you 7 hits. That's nothing and risky if you really want to get this combo. If you fail the two vanishes then you can counter the back hits around 3 times during the hits, ofc it will be tricky but for someone that will see this coming like literally watching the video will understand what's going on and not let this happened. Oh yeah ofc you can counter like once perfectly before you even need to do the vanishes so yeah nothing is really safe in this game. I'm not saying this is a waste of time, he said it himself there is not really a TRUE combo cause no matter what you do, if someone see somethings coming you will be countered. Even an ult from Beerus or Broly that are powerful as hell AND unblockable, you can vanish from them if you time it correctly.

Yeah, this is not very viable at all. This can easily by vanished out of or super countered. You also have to use an entire bar of ki to do the Z-Burst dash, so if the opponent does vanish you have one less bar to vanish battle.

Someone tells me their rank and I'm like okay let me see how you play (like screen share) and yeah most do not impress me. They don't fight against good players most of the time. There is ALOT of ways to do massive combos with every character, but to me a good player is someone that is like perfect at all defences the game has. Good you know a lot of different combos and all of them deal a lot of damage, but that ain't gonna do ANYTHING if you have good defences.

I found out about this a few days ago. You can also cancel from dragon dash by just using regular dash to z-dash to get behind them mid combo and continue the combo I basically use a follow up z dash into a combo 1112 ex. Into sweep or throw or up heavy into another 112,12 or whatever the combo set up I haven’t done yet so the combo doesn’t drop you can do this in between each and every chase making your fighting style look insane

You can continue the fhain endlessly if you have enough ki - dragun rush and lead off with Y X Y input to start ANOTHER blast away, dragun rush behind them, do your string, and repeat

You can also extend combos on a rush reset. The timing isn't too strict, but it is easy to mess up. All you have to do is hit square a few times (4 times is probably best), pause and restart your rush. It essentially gives a similar effect of when you just press square while in sparking mode. I did it with Cell and it easily got a 50+ hit combo.

I figured out you can do this while I was fighting Vegito Blue during Goku Black's Story, it def helped a lot to beat em. I didn't quite use it for rush attack chains like this but more less jus to get an extra rush attack and smash setup for a super. One thing I still couldn't figure out tho is how THE HELL Vegito Blue is able to dragon dash extend what feels like infinitely if you don't counter out of it or get ragdolled. If this is actually possible to do and not just some CPU tech, that would be a much better version of the vanish attacks and could lead to crazy combos. I think Vegito was doing some kinda of dragon dash smash thing but i have no clue what made him able to do it so many times.

Already made a combo with MUI Goku which is a 62 hit and 41 hit for Z Gogeta to hit for around 14.5-16k damage. It’s funny this things have been in use for 17 years since budokai tenkaichi 3 but now that we have an implementation of online battles they are just figuring things out hahaha people are at the tip of the iceberg

The problem is that 4:05 righ there, since is oponent is facing you know, they can and will vanish that hit, so no smash follow up, and it doesnt even need timing, they can just mash triangle and get the vanish whenever you throw hard hit or they face you. After the vanish war, yeah it is useful cause all we usually get there is a circle smash finisher for guaranteed dmg which is like 2k dmg. You can also do the frontal dragon pursue cancel with dash tech and start a front combo which is also like 3k guaranteed dmg. This one well performed, provided the oponent doesnt super counter you, can guarantee up to 10k-13k unbreakable dmg. Nice tool to have to mix up your offense, but as long as super counter remains as busted as it is, we combo enthusiasts wont get much fun our way in this game as opposed to db fighterZ They need to adjust super counter, make it cost Ki or 1 skill point, or make it so if oponent misses the timing they get locked out of using it again for like 2-3 seconds or some.

Dude forgets to mention that unless you’re doing a match that allows ability items, ki management is a huge issue since dragon dashes take A LOT of ki. I only see this being feasible if you use it once or maybe twice in a combo unless you’re in sparking mode. Even then, it’s still fairly easy to counter once you get the timing. Like I said in another video similar to this one, the only way to extend your combos without giving the opponent the opportunity to counter is the utilization of ki blasts. Also to learn the character’s move set and figure out which rush chains have the highest probability to stun the opponent and leave them unable to counter.

Heres the problem though. The game has very little single player or offline content. ALL this game has going for it is its PvP. The only thing thats going to keep this game on life support is sweats in ranked. I’m literally a visual learner If i see what you input I’d be able to do better because not trying to put the same input and different as well without really knowing is hard (my third day)

I started doing this first with the AI and it got me in a bad habit of doing the blink kicks. The AI always falls to the ground if you dragon dash and it gets a little awkward. I feel like the AI need to get up in the air more often to get players ready for online.
