My friend told me about this few weeks ago. Been using it to see my exp range and blink dagger range ever since. In case of blink dagger, it hasn't helped me much actually, but with the exp range it is truly a game changer. I usually run with exp range during laning phase and switch to blink range once I buy it and since they are both similar in length, it also sort of serves as exp range, though it is much less useful after laning phase. Being able to see my exp range while I pull camps, ward nearby or harass enemies has been such a blessing.

It's not a legal cheat. The real legal cheat is Valve not putting up enough servers in Africa, especially ranked. As such, I'm forced to play on European servers with a constant 180-250+ms ping rate. While the people I play with have a 9ms ping rate. Now, go and make a video of what a huge difference that is.

I play EU servers with 140 ping too. Are you a mid-player?

@@babitich Yes I am. 140ms is bad for ranked.

@@harsimran1I can understand your frustration. Here is how I have adapted to 140 ping (playing EU servers from NA, competing with tier 1 players in ranked): 1) You need to understand that even though ping can put you in a favorable or unfavorable position, the main thing in the game is your "Mind." I don't know your rating, but I'm sure you can outplay your opponents in many different ways besides laning. For example, you can make good rotations, have efficient farm patterns, dodge ganks, lead your team, etc. Take player Mikey (www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/zjv1fl/17_yo_mikey_is_now_rank_1_eu_while_playing_with/) as an example; at some point, he reached TOP 1 EU ladder playing from Iran with 140 ping and 10% packet loss. I could literally hear that part of his speech was interrupted due to packet loss. But here's the thing: he picked heroes that are less affected by ping, such as Batrider, Kotl, and Huskar. He didn't play mid to win the lane but rather to just get his 50% from the lane and then make an impact through his game understanding and team leadership. 2) Always warm up in a lobby by last-hitting creeps for 10 minutes to get used to the ping. 3) Pick simple and less ping-affected heroes for mid, such as Kotl, Batrider, Broodmother, and Nyx. However, it's up to you; if you don't want to play those heroes, you don't have to. 4) NEVER test things in demo mode; always host a lobby with ping to never forget how to play with ping. You constantly need to be exposed to the ping. 5) Understand that with high ping, you CAN'T make "clutch" moves, such as dodging stuns with your manta/BKB or dodging spells with Puck's Phase Shift. So don't bother trying to dodge anything. Adjust your gameplay with the understanding that there is no way you'll dodge spells. Unfortunately, I've died more than once trying to dodge something but was unable to press my BKB in time due to ping... Hope that helps.
