How much do you think Taxes will have to go up to fund education, emergency services and transit to yet another development? When will the sprawl stop and please stop saying 1.2 mil like its a good deal.

Look, I’m the first person to say that pricing and costs have gotten out of control in Canada. This particular development has been 20 years in the making though. The idea is that these new communities bring in new tax revenues to offset the cost so it’s not a burden felt by everyone else. $1.2 million is a lot of money by virtually everyone’s standards. I don’t live in a home worth this much. But this is a beautiful home with high-level finishings and compared to other homes in the city at this price point, it’s a great value. I’m not saying that it’s cheap or that it’s meant to be an amazing deal. The reality is there’s an extremely high demand, and there is very little supply, And we see that reflected in prices on every property.

Not quite - a snouthouse is a home with a protruding garage that takes up most of the frontage - that's what most Calgary attached garage homes look like - but this one is more house than garage, and the house is built around it - no significant protrusion.
