Pure alcohol So the foam vanish from the surface... this is good to make video and pictures. The Koi wont feel anything from that.. 😊

The spray is alcohol to get rid of the scum/bubbles for photos or videos. The liquid they put in the bottle cap is a mild anaesthetic to calm the fish down

Ricardo Seereeram it is pure alcohol to clean the top of the water. This is good for watching the Koi and also for filming and making pictures

Hello Andrie, thanks allot for those nice words. They put a kind of sleeping stuff in there to keep the fish calm or they spray alocohol to clear the surface of the water. Both is not bad for the koi fish.

Sure buddy! Sorry to hear about that... but sometimes it happens that Koi looses their color. I have bad news, it will never come back again.. Try to keep your watermetrics on level and try to buy better quality Koi if possible. Cheers, Yvo

Is it that the "Niigata Prefecture is the only production district in Japan that tested negative for KHV"? I think they said they achieve this because they don't bring in any "outside" koi? And they are very selective in their breeding

Miguel Rodriguez KHV can happen to any breeder anytime. But all the Breeders are testing so many times that the chance of getting it is realy low.

Hello Valiant, first of all thank you for reaching out. Please notice that traveling alone to the breeders in japan without any broker isnt possible. Breeders only do business with you when you have a (for them) known broker and you need to be a koi dealer where you life. Please keep that in mind. There are many breeders that bred those variaty's. Please contact your local koi dealer, they will help you finding those beautifull Koi! Good luck!

Hello Fromabove, when the Koi are younger than 2 they cant be sure of the sex of the Koi.. After that They will separate the man from the female because if They spawn in the mudponds They have a problem, smaller Koi eats faster and take the food from the bigger ones. In the end that mean that the Koi wont Grow that big..
