This New OBS Plugin SAVES TikTok Live Studio Compatibility Mode!

So on TikTok live studio the source goes black, I believe the reason for mine doing this is because your resolution when adding the virtual cam is 3640x1920 whereas mine shows up as 3000x1920. I tried resizing in both OBS and TikTok live studio but it doesn't change the virtual camera. I'll keep fiddling with it and come back with my findings if I can figure this out.

hi! not sure if there's been any changes for you, but when I go to align the landscape view, it says "sources not available" and the vertical canvas goes black. apparently it's "overlapping" my vertical canvas and in order for it to stay visible, a part of the vertical scene and the landscape border is still visible. are you experiencing this issue when resizing the canvas@@Agenterino

@@nomfwanime TikTok blocked this setting recently. Seems like they are cracking down on compatibility mode and will go with either only horizontal or only vertical. Sad :(

Thanks for the video... I have an issue tho... When I try to resize I get this meaage and the screen goes black:::: to display the source in the portrait screen add it to landscape screen first and make sure it dosent largely overlap woth other sources :::: any ideas?

Well, it tells you what to do right there. Make sure you have something in the landscape scene first

So does this mean that if configuring TTLS's virtual camera for both vertical and horizontal, that if the viewer (using their cell phone) see's my live stream they will be first presented with the virtual screen and if they flip their phone horizontal, they will only be presented with the horizontal screen?

Loving the content man. Quick question - so when I try to do this. My tiktok resolution for the virtual camera is always 3000x1920. Its causing the landscape side to look all funky. Any idea what could be causing that? I can confirm my output is 1920x1820

Delete the source and add it back, fixed it for me. Currently having issues with the vertical being seen however because of the size restrictions on TikTok Live Studio.

Just go to OBS and on top you will see "docks". There you will see vertical plugin, make sure to just activate it. The dock probably disappeared after installing the update.

In order for you to get the stream key, you will need to join a TikTok Live agency

Make sure you are using the same camera source for both vertical and horizontal scenes

What doesn't open? The plugin? You can just go to "Docks" > "Vertical" and in "Docks" you can also find "Vertical Sources" and Vertical Scenes"

@@Agenterino I think its about a Tiktok Live version update. Maybe Tikok doesn't like we use OBS with their app.
