Plank is most likely a mistranslation of prank. As in the anomalies are pranking you by moving around. There's no L letter in Japanese so prank and plank would be spelled the same in Japanese, hence the mistranslation.

From what I saw with my brief google translate research, Plank in japanese is "Ita" while Prank is "Itazura", so it almost seems like they tried abbreviating the word for prank, but in doing so mistranslated it into plank.

Probably not. They only look similar in our language. Youre right about ita being plank, but its spelled 板. Same with itazura being prank, but its 悪戯. Just a coincidence. The previous user was correct about the r/l mix up@@TheSwordofFlames

I feel like Insym probably shot himself in the foot for some of the shifts taking the time to really look at and memorize each room because the chainsaw in the armory being an anomaly when he just entered it the first time is enough of a hint/clue that any of the later rooms in the list have a chance of an anomaly existing already when Insym checks it because enough time has passed to enter the "active" phase of the night that being said, a really cool observation game because of the story aspect! I feel like for a really good run you'd either have to play a lot or play in their practice/tutorial mode so you can get truly familiar with things (although it does add an extra layer of difficulty that's really cool to see as well with a different location each night).

in the second run when everyone was pointing out vases i had a reaction in my brain that did trigger me to feel like there's something different, but got confused when it was wrong so then i went back to the first run and turns out it's because on the first run the green vase and the 2 vases were switched from the very beginning, which is why the vases seemed so different but yet were normal

I definitely want to see more endings. I atleast would like to see the ending where you win all the work runs. I suspect that one of endings is about eating fancy every day, so maybe that one too? It is defiitely challenging one so I wish you good luck with this game

He says later on (i'm an hour in and he said it like 15mins ago, i think during the contamination map) that he loves the game and wants to replay it. So yeah he's played it, but I don't think on stream. The game came out long before he started streaming so probably pl;ayed it before all that.
