i used to follow this game back when it was first announced on steam and followed its development for a few years. i quickly removed it from my steam wishlist when the devs decided to start shilling cryptocurrency and turned their game into a """metaverse""". i will say though, the building/furnishing UI is really cute. it reminds me of windows xp's taskbar

It looks like the devs are targeting a few of the KZbinrs known for the sims gameplay or simulation genre in general. It is basically house flipper. But it's bad. Would love a house flipper full walk through from you if you did not do it already, that would be such a joy

This is a home decorator game. Period. There is no simulation to this game. But it is fun if you want to just decorate. I also play House Flipper.

def dont like the lighting, it feels like they went for a real time lighting system, but objects lack normal shadows AND contact shadows (ambient occlusion) and objects have this grey and glossy look to them which just makes it feel like a mobile game, not the worst ive seen, but to call this game pretty is a harsh overstatement. basically, they didnt bother optimizing the game, so instead of optimizing it properly which would then allow them to make the game look better, they went the opposite direction and cut back on graphical fidelity because it was easier than implementing proper optimizations.

This reminds me of House Flipper a bit, just without the abandoned or just completely destroyed houses! I wouldn't consider this as being much of a life sim, at least not in the same mold as The SIms, Life By You or Paralives, this is more like what I said, House Flipper, even though arguably, they are about simulating life, just not in the same way as those other games, since you aren't playing with an Avatar or really interacting with any!

Also it’s just really a specific career simulator, it doesn’t simulate life really. In a life sim you can not care at all about decorating and throw up a box with a roof on it and be done with it and go fishing in-game all day if you want. 😅😅

@@Sim-dil-e-icious more likely career simulations, the specific of it is decorator and builder but still it's a part of life simulation and simulations in general. it's part of NDA so it's totally fine since he earn some income for living from it. that's how youtube works so far. for my perspective this will be good, instead of stuck with a certain game. but I need to explore it more in the future to know its limitations

House flipper and other building games have existed before. This isn't life simulation, it's a builder. Which is fine if you are into that.
