This game adds so much cool enemies in the incident mode, enemies that ruin your eco, eat towers (RNG and not ranged based) and much more, there's also unique features like having similar enemies becoming your allies, for example: The swordmaster is a boss in green mode and he can spawn with the spawn tower, so many unique things i like about this game, 10/10 across the board, you cant hate on the maps and tower designs because its a strong art direction.

Battler also technically have best dps in game where if it drink soda at start to wave it dps will be increse by 100 times! (Well it only last as long battler drink soda and instantly end when he does not so i cant find that helpful much)

3:38 im gonna stop you right there egg Paintballer is actualy the best starter and even is better then the a lot of mid game towers and is actualy incredibelly OP with its mastery having huge range, good dps, a 250 damage AOE grenade, decloak (not realy important), he destroys the early game and can even do good damage in the mid game and the grenades can do good chip damage to tanky enemys, and hes also insanely cheap, the only real problem is that this tower is only that strong if you have full mastery sadly but its well worth it scince it can literaly stomp the whole event going on right now, it just cant hold up in the late game as much also another point of the game wich will play a bigger role is that towers will have alt forms when you reach full mastery, currently only heavy gunner has it and it trades its crowd control for INSANE dps that can shreed bosses at a heftier price

PAINTBALLER FINALLY GETS ATTENTION also you dont even need a single mastery level, paintballer and pizza place alone can SOLO release party revenge. paintballer also carried me and made me win hotel elephant for the first time with only mastery 2! and mastery 5 is just putting paintball back to his former glory with the range, and then theres the added benefit of the damage and speed increase, on top of the grenade buff

here are the special traits for the enemies: Yellow shield: has a (insert number) amount of shield hp, any normal bullets will do 1 damage but magic type of damage can bypass it. Purple shield: is immune to explosions, getting rammed and magic attacks. The sign shield: cant be damaged by moving towers Red cash: enemy wont give money Forcefield: invisibility (insert number of seconds) also, enemies can heal or heal others. Flying: needs the exact same amount of range or more

As a level 107 player of DD I will say the choices for the starters were very correct, I will explain the intermediate and advanced, (not exclusive because all the towers there are pretty much OP) alright for intermediate get rocketeer as it can easily take down bosses if spammed at max especially with masterys, Mr tix is worth it but only after you get rocketeer or some late game DPS cloner is alright but i wouldn’t recommend it entirely as if you have sword master for early game and rocketeer for mid-late with some other supporting towers like freezer you should be set, baller is alright but I also wouldn’t say its worth it, it is decent crowd control but not really needed, wizard is very good for crowd control and early game but overall i think sword master is good for crowd control and grinding/speedrunning, six shooter is op crowd control and some single target i would recommend this but it can be unreliable sometimes, troweler is not bad but i wouldnt recommend it as its bad for speedruns and by this point you wouldnt have any spawner towers besides maybe cloner, (the walls from troweler heal unit so they cant really have the full use without units) i will say it can be good support but meh, arsenal is good earlygame but it heavily depends on this map since there are 2 ranges, onto advanced spawn is actually very OP in all modes besides red, good early game (unless on a dual or tri lane map) and good boss killing with the max summon having 10k HP, boombox i dont even need to explain it’s just commander from TDS with a 100% firerate ability at max, pianist i actually haven’t used much but from what i have seen its alright not sure if you should get it or not, heavy gunner is actually very op for red mode to take down purple shield enemies in red mode (if you dont know what those are, trust me youll hate them with a burning passion one day) hyperlaser is very good boss takedowns and good for red mode, a bit overkill for easy and yellow though, pizza place is the best tower in the game idc what you say, it covers literally everything, takes down bosses very good, gives AMAZING money (better than mr tix) it is a spawner so its not very good for speedrunning but that is pretty much the only downside besides enemies being spawner immune in red mode, rockstar just like boombox no need to explain, its a 50% damage boost at max very good (boombox is better for the 100% buff but rockstar can deal some damage although very little) machinery is very op when paired with general because of the range boost, it functions like accelerator from TDS but also places sentrys like engineer its very good for crowd control, enemies with shields, but not very good for flying as the range is fairly low, now general this tower is very good, the only 2 major problems are the reload time and cost, the cost problem is an easy fix just bring mr tix or pizza place, the reload time is also a easy fix just bring boombox, this tower deals amazing damage on its own dealign 22500 damage at max (thats not with rockstar btw) it also calls in paratroopers with high health and good dps, he also calls in cash crates giving some money (its not a lot for how much he costs but it still helps) also once he is maxxed out if he is killed or sold he calls in 3 paratrooper planes, this forms a great strategy in red mode where you can spam sell him to get an army of paratroopers and easily kill the final boss, and thats it i hope this helps people

as a level 108, honestly everything he just said was accurate, but i can add that pizza place mastery is definently worth it despite being the second most expensive to get mastery for. Rocketeer can crush hard mode, the hardest mode in this game with enough mastery in it, and those playing easy mode/medium mode, the game is pretty straightforward as the towers all match the level of difficulty of each mode(excluding mastery) which is why i liked this game.

eggrypted you should also play the battle bricks, another td game that has made an appearance inside of DD, and it's pretty good. Its basically based off another tower defense game (which is not inside of roblox called The Battle Cats) and it's a pretty unique type of tower defense where in simple words you fight enemies that fight back! i highly recommend you play it however do be careful of the community as its pretty toxic.

its just a worst version of battle cats. ive experienced more grind in battle bricks than battle cats and theres some INSANE difficulty spikes. also just a lot less to do and the 3 different difficulties you can choose just make it a chore as you swap between them to do the same levels over and over for optimal payouts cuz they made it so rewards reduce after u already beat a level. and this and theres hella ppl that glaze it for being the equivalent of copying homework and making it different, then butchering it in the process.

I just played this game it’s actually good. Ngl I have found some small td games that needed more attention. Critical tower defence was one it had a very good variety of towers I think my favourite was samurai it also had good bosses, very good challenges and the music was good as well even if a bit was copyright. Unfortunately I’m pretty sure ctd is dead now I think but doom-spire is defiantly a good game to play

This game sure has potential, but it's kinda mid in it's current state. The maps are legit the worst maps i've ever seen in a td game and the difficulty gap between Yellow and Red mode is just horrendous. There is currently no modes in DTD that have a balanced difficulty other than maybe undead coming, but that gets boring and repetitive real quick.

Very true with the difficulty gap part. Imagine a new player beating yellow, thinking they are ready to take on red, only to be jumpscared by the sudden introduction of these different traits. With the teasers of what seems to be a yellow mode rework, hopefully that fixes the difficulty gap issue a bit.

I see the issues, but they can be explained/are currently being fixed, for the maps wdym they are the worst? The game is literally set in OG roblox it cant be that detailed, the difficulty gap is giant and late game red mode is also overwhelming, but this is currently being fixed, the owner said in the discord server that they are going to remove a lot of enemies and save them for future modes like side modes, (the concepts not the entire enemies) also i genuinely dont understand what you mean the balancing issues, how is any mode other red unbalanced? Red is very unbalanced but it’s being fixed, for green you can literally win if you try hard enough with only battler, yellow mode can be won with only slingshotter but it requires a lot of skill so a new player cant really do that, release party is very easily winnable with low end tower while it does require skill, the current event is a lot easier than what people make it out to be, just search up a grinding strat for it and see how easily some players can beat it even with lower end towers, incident is easy if you know what your doing and thats all the modes i really dont see what you mean

The worst part of red mode is that YOU HAVE TO get the last tower,in TDS hardcore you do not have to get accel or other towers, top tier towers should NOT be required And I absolutely have the mechanic of towers being destroyed, that is a tower defense game, not RTS and it's even worse cause they did not care to implement health system so your basically required to use macros if you want to keep towers

YESSSS, I've been playing this for a while (currently grinding for galactic gunner, heavy gunner ALT) While looking for td games to play, as im almost lvl 300 in tds and 120 in tdx. It is actually so good and underated. Thx for telling more people about it. Edit - Also I agree about tax evasion, but if you max the mastery (so dont buy until you can max tix mastery) It gets rid of the chance to lose money.

its good, but the problem is the SEVERE grinding. the main mode ive been able to beat with the highest amount of payout is undead coming, 1k in at most 25 mins. however, all advanced towers, most of which you need for hard mode, all cost at least 4k, so more than an hour for each tower. now this is manageable, if im bored and need something to do i might hop on and grind for a new tower while watching yt. the problem is the MASTERIES. they usually cost thousands, sometimes more than the tower itself, and can completely change your strategy. its absolutely beneficial to get the masteries, especially on advanced towers, and the last mastery usually changes the tower heavily in playstyle and make it significantly stronger, such as tix man’s final mastery giving cash passively along with every wave. so yea, you have to play undead coming for probably days on end to get decent enough towers for red mode. then theres the freemium route, just pay for your bricks, because its a td game, why actually have to play the game. so yea, game is def a decent game in the first few hours, then just becomes your average, stereotypical, roblox grindy freemium td game.

I literally JUST beat hardmode solo on classic house. It’s actually really fun. You have to strategize instead of spamming the best towers and winning instantly. The game is challenging, but not unfairly hard.

Also one of these games problems is that since yellow mode is so easy you just need one intermidiate tower and 2 beginer towers to speedrun it on an insane map making the player go straight for advanced towers and ignore other intermidiate or beginer towers.hopefully this isuse gets resolved in the yellow mode rework.

The great thing about doomspire defense, when the game is hard, you don’t complain to the devs to nerf it, it’s possible, you just need to be stronger, that’s the thing about hard mode, you actually have to focus instead of standing around afk while watching as fallen king dies, no, you can actually DO something that really makes it change the status or position of your team. The maps are also very well made to be classic and like the real doomspire game remastered into a tower defense game, heck I’d say that the maps look more classic than the classic event in itself, that’s what makes doomspire defense fun, you can do something and the way they make the game look is brilliant! If you don’t like the game it’s ok, people have their own opinions, you most likely prefer not doing much in game, and I would probably say your lazy, but I’m just the kind of guy who likes adrenaline (that’s also why I love ultrakill) so that’s my thoughts on doomspire defense! ❤

Hey egg, you missed the part whilst talking about masteries where for tix if you want to level it up, aim to immediately max it after level 2 since its max mastery removes the chance of not making money and makes even more money WITH passive income

Glad that this w game is getting the attention it needs now. If you need some pointers or even some help in game, here are some, pizza place is the second best eco tower before Mr tix, pizza place works as a spawner where little pizza guys throw pizzas which the enemy side is force to pay for (eco part of it) it is very op especially with the max mastery (expensive that it costed my liver) and heavy gunner is the mini gunner of tower defense games except it has a reload system, but also has aoe attacks and even an alt form but I won’t spoil more.

Undead Coming; Mechazomb reminds me of Tower Galactica; Ymir lol I like this game because the tower seems fun to use without setbacks, it's also unique and optimized 'cause it have retroish graphic. It has a replayability too!

I’m lvl 90+ and think that this game is fun. It’s a good game when you need a new TD game. Although the jump from medium to hard is huge, the side modes help transition through it. Overall I recommend it

As someone who has played the game for a fairly long time now (cureently level 72) i thibk the game is just alright. It definitely has its charm but the balancing is WACK. Which i won't lie is also the reason why i play it lol but the difference from yellow mode to red mode is insane so good thing that's getting a rework soon i think. The mastery system it has is also creative and something no other td game had done (at least on roblox) so even if i am still a bit eh on it i can't deny the originlaity And also how fast they get updates holy shit veen is fast

Ima level 100 on the game and I have a few tips only use them if you want :pizza place is Basicly the best tower in game it summons units that make money like cowboy and is has mastery :paintballer is op if you buy the mastery I use it for red mode: if you get late game grind revenge party it’s really good: a loudout I would recommend at your level is pizza machinery rockstar boombox and either masterd paintballer or moderator
