Tbh, y’all are glazing this update so damn hard. Drowningsome did NOT fix passive play with backdash degradation, because styles that need that nerf the most (i.e. hawk, hitman) have overly fast attacks with high range, so it basically means nothing

Who the hell is playing hawk passively it made for aggressive play it is not that good without at bloodlust or ecstasy and its dashes are really really bad so it is still an aggressive style now for hitman its whole gimmick is the long range and it will be a little annoying but it is not that op now because they can't run and you can't take away all the passive play away form the game it would be like taking away a whole play style there main focus was to Nerf the extreme passive play like running and pd fishing and it is not that hard to outplay hitman if you know how to dodge and the main theme of this update is to Nerf running which they did

@ There are many passive hawk’s man, and it has very good attack speed with high damage, so it can get that blood up VERY quickly. I know there is no way to permanently remove passive play, but I still think they could’ve done better. Especially since momentum lowkey boosted passive play. After all, it made aggressive players dash in more after passive back dashes, and you can’t dodge hitman attacks during that. Unless your style is faster, you’ll get blasted immediately, recovering backdash, and then that passive player runs away again.
