First time really commenting, but have been listening all year, and I just have to share this: in the early 90’s I was a 13 year old who loved John Starks and the orange and blue. Somehow the prettiest and smartest girl in school was my girlfriend. My first love. We soon went separate ways. Always rooted the Knicks, and Melo was my guy. Today, 30 years later, I’ve damn married that girl, and we’re seeing the Knicks TONIGHT for the first time in my life, AT the Garden, as they make their way towards their greatest title run in my lifetime. the thing I blame it on is the lack of rotation in the lineups. Thibs doesn’t trust rookies which sucks. There are a ton of teams benefitting from allowing their rookies and young guys to find their footing. Kolek and Hukporti mess up once and they are on the bench for 3-4 games. We get beat by teams who throw everything they have at us

The Knicks missed about 10 to 12 FT's, and several lay ups in the 2nd half. Barrett and Jays can shoot, but Knicks should have won this game by 20 pts.

Well the reason that they allowed Toronto to get more rebounds is because Thibs refuses to play Ariel Hukporti who is a good rebounder. He could either start or come off the bench as the center. Precious Achiwua could be the power forward. That would allow the Knicks to dominate on the boards. Thibs' choice to not use Ariel Hukporti also allowed Utah's and Dallas' big guys to help defeat the Knicks as well. If Scottie Barnes hadn't gotten injured, the Knicks might have lost this game and that was without Immanuel Quickley who was injured. Thibs should be sitting down and looking at his choice to stubbornly bench a guy who can help on that end. Ariel Hukporti can also pass, block shots, drive to the rim, finish on ally oops and finish on pick n' rolls. And he'll never improve if he doesn't get in game experience. Notice that rookies on other teams are improving that way. Look at Jared McCain on the 76ers.
