I have a theory that Switch 2 will use DLSS only to upscale from 720p to 1080p, then the dock will have a 4K Gamer Pro equivalent upscaler to bring it up to 4K. That means the developers only need to concentrate on the two power profiles that were rumoured, eliminating performance differences between handheld and docked. But crucially, pretty much any 3rd party game can perform well if devs make the right compromises, targeting native 720p.
@Даниил-з4ь4ф4 күн бұрын
Well, I have a theory that NS1 successor (not the fake & overspeculated "Switch 2") won't have DLSS features, cuz it would rise the price for the console SIGNIFICALLY & we all know that Nintendo likes to go the cheap way. So what AR is talking about in this video is BS & garbage & believing these "leakers" is not smart to say the least, especially Nash Weedle😓😤

2025 will be one of the biggest years in gaming ever. GTA 6 will be the biggest game launch of all time, but since the Switch 2 almost certainly won't be getting it at launch, they're going to have to get gamers attention with their own host of next gen games. It's going to be crazy. It's going to blow 2023 out of the water, and be the biggest year since at least 2018.

I believe GTA6 will help to sell more Switch 2 because gaming in general will reach a bigger audience. In the world of financial and news, Switch 2 is more important than GTA6 but I think most gamers prefer the game over the console.

I think they could launch in March, if they wanted to (but find it unlikely without a reveal yet.) Its simply mathematics based on their production capacity. Nintendo had something around 2 million Switch 1s ready for March 2017. We know some of these were built in late 2016 from the serial labels (my March 2017 purchase has a 2016 date on the label.) Assuming three months of production time, they averaged around 700K units per month prior to launch. And a 14.6 million number by end of year indicates they reached an average of 1.4 million units per month April-December after fully scaling-up. However, Nintendo's production capacity is even greater now. At maximum capacity of Switch 1 production circa 2021-2022, they were churning out around 2.4 million units per month. Granted some of their capacity (about 400K a month) would likely still be dedicated to Switch 1 production to satisfy 2025 demand, and there's a few hundred thousand units of Alarmos to be built per month (which may not even be built in the same factories as Switch 1 and Switch 2), its fair to say they can safely approach 1.8 million per month once ramped up. And perhaps even more given they spent a lot of money in the last year to improve the factories, presumably to prepare for Switch 2 manufacture. Now, assuming this 2.5 number scales to all territories evenly (probably won't), this leak seems to indicate Nintendo would desire 5 million Switch 2s at launch across the globe. Taking the Switch 1 ramp-up capacity as half of the expected fully-ramped-up capacity, or 900K per month, means about five and half months production in a worst-case scenario. If the factory improvements led to a 25% improvement in capacity, or they just simply pump the breaks on Switch 1 production a bit more, or Alarmo needs don't factor in, resulting in a volume closer to 1.25 million/month, that drops the production time to just 4 months. If production started in September or October (or is even just now starting or about to), which both the shipping manifest data and financial working product numbers seem to indicate may have happened, they could get to 5 million by March. If they've been secretly producing it for several weeks already, and get production rates even higher, or ramp up even quicker (since it took around three months to ramp up Switch 1 and we've still four and half until end of March for Switch 2), they might even be pushing to 6 or 7 million units available by end of March. I'd personally rather see 8-10 million to combat scalpers, but if Nintendo is happy with a 5 million number, all the better because that means an earlier release and thus more months for a powerful game lineup before holiday season 2025. I'd still put my money on an April-June timeframe, since Nintendo will want several months of high-profile build-up and media coverage and might not want to squash Xenoblade X in same month. But if they've got their hearts set on March they can absolutely make it happen.

We don't factually know anything about the manufacturing/production process of NS1 successor, except rumours which are presented to us as "leaks", almost as "facts"😤 & some very vague & unveryfiable datamines, so it's hard to analyse something😓😠
@lilisaur4 күн бұрын
@@Даниил-з4ь4ф So the shipping logs and Nintendo's own financial information is fake? You have proof these companies are breaking the law by misreporting imports and exports and misleading investors? Seems unlikely Nintendo or Hosiden would take such unnecessary risks so we can assume this information is truthful. Unless you've got some evidence to suggest these are all parts for something that isn't Switch 2. If Switch 1, why do they need to be producing 2-2.5 million of them per month this late in the life cycle to account for such a high parts shipment and working inventory value? They already said in the investors meeting their target is about 7 million units through March 31. I don't think Nintendo wants to get stuck with an extra 8 million or so Switches come March 31 so these components probably aren't being used to make that many Switch 1s.* Five million Alarmo's per month? If they had that kind of production volume, why isn't in retail stores for the holiday season? Why would Nintendo produce 15+ million of them, and stock them in a warehouse until finally getting them to retail stores in January? That's not happening. The Alarmo capacity just isn't anywhere near that number so it can't account for the volume of parts or working inventory value either. Perhaps another piece of hardware Nintendo hasn't told us about, like an N64 Classic? NES Classic only did 3.56 million and SNES Classic 5.28, so they don't wouldn't need to be making a whole lot of N64 Classics. And like Alarmo, an N64 Classic gets into the situation of why isn't it in stores for holiday if they could have made enough of them already to at least make for a comfortable Christmas sale-through. By process of elimination, that material and the reported value of that material is almost certainly being used for Switch 2s. The 2017 capacity is easily resolved from how many units were actually sold, and since it was effectively sale-through we can assume Nintendo was selling them as fast as they could possibly make them. We know the 2020-2021 volume by same measures. So we know the 2024 capacity is at least as much. These aren't vague, unverifiable quantities: this is public information based on Nintendo's reported sales for these years (which no one is refuting.) We also know Hosiden had a large expenditure in factory improvements over the last year, which they claimed was in support of their primary entertainment customer, which is Nintendo. I'm speculating here, but I think a 25% increase in capacity could be realistic. So I gave the numbers for both the known capacity, and a theoretical higher capacity. The only unverifiable bit of info I used was that 2.5 number. That's the only "leak." But that's also what the video was about. If that's an accurate number, then Nintendo's publicly known capacity allows them to get there by March. I'm astonished by this too because I thought for sure they'd make a reveal around the time production began, but I can't deny the information that's being published for public entities, such as the investors. Nintendo's keeping a good secret, but they just can't hide the money being spent any longer. The investor's meeting stuff had to describe too much, and it lines up well to the shipping data that had already been leaked. I don't really trust the leakers, but when the leaker's info agrees with Nintendo's, it becomes much harder to refute. * I will concede one point that could explain things, and that is a massive spike in Switch 1 production now, so they can build all the remaining 2024 and all of 2025/2026 capacity they think they'll need (12 million-ish is my guess) by end of this year, so that they can fully flip all their lines to Switch 2 production early in 2025 and not be manufacturing some 400K Switch 1s aside 2 million Switch 2s next year. However, if they did this, that means having to store many millions of Switch 1s for months and months, when that warehouse space could be better used warehousing Switch 2s prior to release. Its much more costly to do this than build both units side-by-side and slowly transition Switch 1 capacity to Switch 2 through 2024, so I really don't think this is the plan. (And if it is the plan, then it means the lines are completely freed up sooner, so instead of an average pre-launch ramp-up pace of 900K per month, they'll be 1.1 or 1.2 million and by late Spring get fully up to 2.3 million or so, so first half 2025 launch date with 5 to 7 million units still isn't ruled out.)

The Switch 2 probably won’t be revealed until January 2025. But don’t worry, we just need to show patience. Maybe we’ll have a new Mario Kart game at launch or Prime 4, Legends: Z-A or Xenoblade X could launch with the console. Mario Kart could launch with 32 tracks and no crossover characters and get DLC packs adding crossover characters and double up the tracks to 48. It’s weird that the Blue Falcon is in the series but Captain Falcon isn’t. So why don’t they come in form of the DLC? I want them to ditch the Coin Item and bring the Fake Item Box back, add commentary as the Arcade GP series has it and bring Mission Mode back as it was supposed to return in Wii. By March 2026, we could get a new 3D Kirby game, possibly a Sequel to Forgotten Land. We could get to see playable Elfilin and Clawroline for the first time and they could bring back the Dream Palace Allies as well. Halfway through 2026, we could get Splatoon 4 and by the end of the year, we could get Super Smash Bros. 6 and hopefully they’ll ditch World of Light, bring Subspace Emissary back and update the movesets of some characters. We could get Super Mario Maker 3 and Luigi’s Mansion 4 and a successor to Super Mario Party Jamboree by 2027 as it’s been 5 years since we had Super Mario Maker 2 and Luigi’s Mansion 3. They could add a Mario Wonder game style to Super Mario Maker 3 so 3D World isn’t just the extra game style and they could bring the Amiibo costumes and the Weird Mushroom back, and for Luigi’s Mansion 4, the game could be in an Airbnb and we might get to see Luigi save Daisy for the first time in the series. By 2028, we could get a successor to Paper Mario: The Origami King as the TTYD remake came out this year. So why not another one in the next 4 years? I hope the console sells well. I probably won’t get it day one, or maybe not at all. I might wait for Smash 6 to be announced and then get the console with Mario Kart and get other games later on.
