Why don't you use kapton tape to cover things like the battery terminal when using the hot air gun nearby...surely that'd save getting it damaged a bit?

You did it again! And a little diy, too, hey?... Not to mention that, between streaming and videos, you're everywhere on YT. Keep up the great work, bud.

Hi, I have a switch lite that has a shorted capacitor from the power management chip to the cpu. You said at 6:50 that if that capacitor is shorted, youd give up, is there any way I can save this switch with a shorted capacitor like this?

Great videos, like the port mod, would it be easier to mod the case rather than the port itself ?

I have a switch board with the CPU cap shorting (junk bored) lots removed. well I was practicing cleaning up the solder pads under the CPU. and I clean it up, even without the CPU on I have that cap still shorting, so I'm going to looks at those caps under the CPU on the other side of the board to pin point what's shorting to ground. m92/ cpu has already been removed edit the cap isn't shorting, but the pad still is

Usually damaged charging cables or ports cause faulty M92 problems:)

So I have a switch lite that will not turn on unless I put a battery in it that already has power. I replace the charging port and I replaced the M 92 I’ve also replaced the BQ24. Neither of those chips are showing any type of short and the fuse just behind the charging port is also showing continuity. Any thoughts? Replace the charging port twice to different charging ports just to make sure somehow one wasn’t faulty
