thanks Marcel I agree a change would be better with new ideas to streamline losses we need a change , the massive losses are keeping stock prices at penny stock levels , They got so many partners and great technology , but they losing too much money every earnings , Hopefully moving forward swap stations will be built from partners this would help alot building swap stations and keeping them stock cost alot of Money ,Also the gen4 will cost even more to build and stock , I keep track of swaps per day and they have been ramping up nicely it is a long term play.

The word is Gen four station costs less to build, said by Shen Fei. And it might not be a good idea if the partners pay for the build if NIO wants to bring NIO power to pubic. Heard NIO has such plan.

The impact on the stock price (if any) will be temporary and not lasting. Yes there has been mistakes, as in any other company. As I commented in your previous videos the issue is “deeper” and might have very little to do with NIO’s performance or top executives. One thing that could potentially counter the concerted efforts by the US and the west to “stain” China and Chinese products (against their competitiveness and merits) is to be more “communicative”, frequently releasing updates, and basically strengthening their information warfare … there are so many paid media mercenaries hired to promote certain agenda and negative sentiments … Cheers!

Thanks for great work I was at oslo nio house a few weeks ago there was no sense of urgency at nio house the people down stairs were laughing in some rooms some glued to laptops there was a very relaxed vibe like this was only a job the 1 salesman I spoke to seemed good but I did not see any other sales people only people in groups in offices??? Better sales training is needed from management they need to be more aggressive???

@@martina5328 I don't agree with cutting R&D radically. I would support cutting R&D in swaps and phones and even chips. Definitely slow down and sunset the swap stations and nio houses

Was half watching / listening whilst doing Sunday chores. Just one question... how would firing the CFO improve deliveries ? Other than providing guidance and counting the shekels and signing off on some big expenditures what does a CFO do ? What a CFO does is not my question , my question is will the replacement CFO be able to count the shekels better or did I miss the point....I might have gone upstairs to vacuum when that point was made.

I was with nio when it was at $40 to $60. Goodness I sold before it tanks to this prices. I should rebuy when it gets to $20ish. Otherwise it would just stay as penny stock.

NIO losses have nothing to do with the CFO. People don't undertand that NIO is a young company. And as a startup EV company, they needed to spend huge amount of money in R & D. Of course a change of CFO is a good idea, to push NIO to the next level. To profitability, expansion, partnership, ...

Nio is not new, it's a 10 year old company. Li auto was founded a year later than Nio and it's profitable.

@@Andrewgaming-jm8mn NIO started delivering cars in 2018 Tesla started delivering EV cars in 2012 ( 2008 the Roadster) . Tesla first profitable year was in 2021 Tesla has 3 major markets with no obstacles from overseas governments : US market, China market, EU market. NIO just has one major market : China. EU market is insignificant at the moment, plus the new EU tariffs for Chinese EV imports. US raised Chinese EV imports to 100%. How on earth do you win with those unfair restrictions. Plus Tesla in first quarter 2022 made over 600 million dollars just selling " credit emissions" to other automakers. Basically a "Subsidy". For the EV auto industry, NIO is new. LI auto is not pure EV. We'll see where Li Auto will be in 5 years. NIOis in another level. Just happens that Naked shorts are playing and manipulating with NIO.

I think that the CFO only does what the CEO wants from him and change is arabs pressure. if the pressure is so great on ceo, a lot can change. How long it will take Nio to be profitable? That alone could attract buyers to the stock, making it riskier to short. With Nio not expected to become profitable before 2027 and probably turning net cash-negative in 2025, the stock looks even riskier to own.

Cfo reports directly to the board. Not the ceo. The cfo is often partner to the ceo, but 99% independant.

My thinking is one thing really hurting NIO in the US markets is that the US is really turning it's back on EV's...People just don't want them and why would you invest in a company that sells something YOU wouldn't even buy?...I own 19,000 shares but I'm not a crowd follower...:):):)...Just a thought???????

Given stock performance and decisions made e.g. raising capital when the stock all time low - I'd fire away! I questioned management's decisions and ability to lead through everchanging EV landscape long ago. I just don't understand why it took so long for them even to start thinking about it. Given the bailout my concern is that China's government may have a say into how they run their shop from behind the curtain.

One of the biggest failings of Nio management is its passivity towards illegal short sellers which are doing real harm to Nio the company and its share price. They must at least send an open letter to regulators to investigate the illegal short sellers which cost nothing. They should also fire the CFO for its passivity and mistakes.

CFO reports to the board, and is appointed / fired by the governing committee. The CEO cannot fire a CFO in a public company. CEO can recommend to the board, but its not the the CEO's call. Your all sounding uneducated.

CFO just resigned today. Pretty good for an uneducated call, I guess ;) Btw. .. look into the special voting rights of Li Bin. He can do anything.
