@@davkaufmaneatstheworld My pleasure! In Grand Marais, for treats you gotta love World's Best Donuts, the name doesn't lie. Sydney's Custard is also great (excellent food too, gyros and stone fired pizza). My Sister's Place has awesome burgers and pizza. The Angry Trout (and nearby Fisherman's Daughter) have the best fish on the shore. South of the Border breakfasts are classic and hearty. I'm sure you're familiar with Trail Center on the Gunflint (hello rhubarb malts!), but Gunflint Lodge also has great food. I haven't had it yet but I've heard wonderful things about Poplar Haus. Bluefin Grille in Tofte is fine dining and delicious with some really unique options. Duluth has so many! I moved down to Duluth in January, and I'm still scratching the surface of what the city has to offer. I love Burger Paradox just down the road from OMC. Fitgers, Grandma's, and Sammy's Pizza are historic and awesome. My partner works at Clyde Ironworks, which is another super cool historic place with great food. Fellow Minnesotan here. I used to teach in St. Paul and two of my colleagues were Lakota. One had a good friend who ran a shelter for indigenous women escaping harmful relationships. One of the ways they raised money was to sell fry bread tacos. Yvette would tell us a few days ahead and take orders for us. Then her friend or one of her employees would deliver them to school so we could have them for lunch. They were SO good! We were always asking Yvette when she was doing another taco day. Honestly, it got to the point where our staff was the biggest delivery they’d make on taco day.

Does adding sweet corn really make food uniquely Minnesotan? In that case, My tuna sandwiches, pasta sauce, and pizza meet that specific criteria. I don't have a freeze dryer; but, have used my food dehydrator to dry out corn kernels. The trick is to not dry them out too much. They add a bit of crunch to just about anything I put them in. I used to make fry bread a lot and have used it for tacos and pizza. I enjoyed this video very much.
