Whats the Princess hotel doing with that silted up trench at the front there, why can't they collaborate with the local authorities and have that eye sore clean???

Imagine all the talk about development yet there's no recycling plant to address the wanton disposal of solid waste in every part of the country

Thanks for the video update. Based on the video they are installing the precast girders onto the piers. The blue gantry crane moves extends, and position on top of the piers or pile caps if you will, then lifts the girders in place. The bridge deck will be installed once the girders are completed. Seems like a lot of work still remains to be done, and we are probably into late 2025 completion. I think. Oh by the way, I think the term "ramp" is to get from one level to the next. The girders and piers shown in your video are the bridge itself. You can call it the superstructure part of the bridge. On ramps and off ramps are commonly used with interchanges configurations, and from to description. Like N-E Ramp. Especially on engineering drawings. Don't mean to offend, but you often showcase civil engineering projects, and terminology should be correct? Otherwise if it's just me being nit picky....forget about it.

Thank you for these videos. The best close-up look of the ramp and approach roads on the east side of the new Demerara bridge. I was wondering why you couldn’t go alongside the ramp until I saw the guard with the AK47. Not sure if you will encounter the same issue from the Heroes Highway side. However, it is the best close-up view so far. Thank you.

Constructive feedback highlights strengths and offers suggestions for improvement using specific, objective, and non-judgmental language. Criticism: Criticism may have a more negative or disapproving tone. It might use language focusing on what went wrong rather than providing guidance on making things right.

Both are necessary. Some badly conceived and poorly executed projects have no redeeming qualities and can be deadly to the public. People need to be made aware of these issues especially when they cannot understand it by themselves and when it puts their own lives in danger. For example air pollution can cause increased risk of respiratory illness and cancers. The public may be unaware of this fact so they may not appreciate why having a major road running through your neighborhood could be increase health risks.

It's a bit disquieting to me that the local construction tycoons have also got their own private goon squad carrying automatic rifles standing around the job sites. Are they meant only to keep random persons out or the foreign workers IN?

Raphael, if you could get back into that condemned hotel that you showed us a few months back you would have a great view of the bridge construction. But l think it's risky now since the sherrif security guard was telling you that you can't be there. Lol😂
