Tommy is amazing. He helped Floor Jansen (Nightwish) out with some of her stuff as well. She is married to the drummer of Sabaton, Hannes. Also, if you haven't heard Sabaton, then congrats, your in for quite the treat! (Ghost division live at Woodstock, or Bismarck official music video, could be good starting points).

So, so happy you found Tommy!!! Isn't he amazing? So much more to explore. He drops a new video/song every Friday on his YT channel. Apart from his epic voice, he plays almost every instrument and always has so much fun with his music AND I agree, he has great hair (hope he never cuts it!) He is one of the guitarists from the Swedish metal band Sabaton (also worth a listen if you haven't already) and has his own band Majestica (also epic and worth a listen). Usual starter recommendations: "She's Gone" (Steelheart cover), and "You Raise Me Up, One Octave Challenge" but my favorites are "Over the Hills and Far Away" and "The Light". His own original The light 20 year celebration shows a little if both If you want some new take on Christmas music you could check Tommys Majestica album “ a Christmas carol “ out .. but beware it is power metal .. written by Tommy to be a power metal musical .. it is the story of Scrooge .. start with “ghost of Marley” if you want to take a look at that

Nice reaction .Tommy is so good and yes that was all tommy doin the voices. You need to do( you raise me up) or( the winner takes all) by abba.he totally upgrades that song or (alone) by heart .it'll blow your mind at how good he can sing high or low and play the guitar piano etc

You are lucky to be able to listen to all his music for the first time now. I love the Majestica songs where he shows off his skills as a composer as well as singer and guitar playing. His solos in Sabaton are always good. And the covers are pure magic with his own twist. He once answered the hair question with Aussie brand (for curly hair) and it is gorgeous.

Oh dear God... Tommy Johansson cannot be compared to Dan Vasc! Except that they are males. Tommy plays every instrument and all the music for his covers and records layers of vocals for harmonies. He doesn't use auto-tune or pitch correction...he's simply a fantastic vocalist! Tommy's channel is full of incredible power metal covers to blow you away! Def check out his cover of Steelheart's She's Gone, and the song that won him karaoke champ, Alone, by Heart!

There certainly are comparisons that can be made. Although, he doesn't play on his covers, Dan does play guitar. He is in a metal band, like Tommy. Dan also records layers of his voice for harmonies ( as seen in Handel's Hallelujah, which is on our playlist, as we recently reacted to it), and doesn't use auto-tune or anything to electronically enhance his voice, either. We think that they are both incredibly talented musicians. It was even Dan Vasc fans who recommended checking out Tommy, as they have respect and appreciation for each of them. We have those songs on our list, and hope you've subscribed to see our reactions to them. 🙂

Tommy does a new cover/rendition of a song every week on his own KZbin channel and he's just as amazing every time, if you liked his high tones you ought to look up his version of "You raise me up". If you want another amazing version of Phantom of the Opera you should check out Nightwish's version of the song from the End of an Era-tour when Tarja Turunen (i.e. not the Floor Jansen/Henk Poort version) was the singer, that version if in a league of its own.
