Screws will fall out but I do like the blade...it needs bearings, blade assist and American made is important .

As you can see in the video there's no need for bearings. Action is super snappy and smooth. Not sure about the screws, I've had and used it for a bit and no screw issues. Guess we'll see. I agree, it would be nice if it were US made, but I'll take Taiwan as a good second choice. Their manufacturing is just as good. 🍻

Why would you want bearings in a well done fall shut washer action? Nothing beats a well done PB washers action and it's so much less sensitive to debris getting in the pivot and destroying the action.

I don't mind paying for Taichung's work, but I hate that cheap peel ply carbon fiber on an expensive knife. The Smock has the same thing. I do like it and will put it in my Spyderco collection.

Yeah, these aren't the typical peel ply CF, so I'm ok with them because the texture is great. Wouldn't mind some aftermarket scales though.. they just don't make them.

255, made in Taiwan and s30v? Hell no. I picked up a rex 76 para 2 for 40 less. No way this should be more expensive

Yeah, sales happen. Paying full retail always has its downside. I'll agree that it's a steep price, but I'll honestly take it over my Para2.. and I love the Para2. Different strokes for different folks. 🍻
