You sometimes rip my soul out and put it back in just a little bit less tattered than before! ❤

The duality is recognizable and yet foreign as a new land. You capture that revolving door perfectly This comment may not make sense to anyone but me.

At 60 years old, my ex kicked me out of the home I owned before we met. He found someone 20 years younger than me. Now she lives in the house I owned for 25 years and cherished. I try not to show the pain every day, but it's been 9 years and it's still there. Hard to trust anyone. The friends and relatives wonder why I've changed. Now at 69 years old, the only love I get is from my dog. I relate to these lyrics Hector. Never expected to be living alone in old age, but I always try to be thankful for what I have. So many have it so much worse. 😥

I get you, hang on because you have a brain squeeze family here to love you just as you are. The same happened to me but I was fortunate to find a better man and I am sure it is never too late to do that. Hugs 🫂 dear friend.
