The pea shooter Cromwell, t-34-85 or any other gun with a fast reload gets the tracking mission done because tracks have their own hp pool so the more you hit it the weaker it gets and the better odds of a perma-track

Use the Kpz50t if you have it. If not, K-91, Leo1, 121, kpz-07, or the obsidian. This mission isn’t one of the harder ones as long as you use rate of fire tanks

It's been awhile since I played the game. But in my experience city or choke points are the best for tracking. And being close so you can't miss. You also need a tank that has enough alpha to track the tank on regular basis. Some tanks just can't do it all the time. Anyways Good Luck
