Some nice lessons there. A French cleat would have come in handy or a cleat below the rack to hold it while you screwed in would have helped. I’ve installed quite a few upper cabinets with cleats. I know people think it’s easy I’ll just hold it but you need to protect your back and body. I’ve learned that lesson the hard way!

Thomas, next time you're picking up a sheet of do-it-over plywood, can you get me 2 or 3 sheets for my project that is only supposed to use a quarter of one sheet? More serious question: what type of plywood are you using for the clamp rack?

Why not just throw a couple cleats up there to hold it in place why you secured it
