Tom gets so real on this one, I almost ended up on the floor from shock the first time I heard it. How well Tom puts these concepts into verse astounds me and it hits me hard each time I hear it! They do everything they can to shadow ban and use every excuse to de-monetize and lower visibility on any of Tom's songs they can get by with. One song that Tom and Adam Calhoun put out together last year, New World Order, was trending at #5, I think, on KZbin, you could see it on Tom's page but when you went to the KZbin trending page, they had #1, #2, #3, #4, #6, completely skipping #5 on the trending page. I will say this I absolutely love Tom's music but for anybody who hasn't listened to his stuff yet, oh boy. Listening to his music is like you were dead to the world asleep in your own bed then his music starts going and you wake up and you're in the middle of a freaking forest nowhere near where your home is nowhere near where your bed is and you're seeing all the creatures of the dark that you thought were fuzzy little bunnies. Believe it or not- my dad came to me awhile back - he asked if I had ever heard of… (took his phone out and looked at his notes and said ) Tom Macdonald? - my dad saw a video of his on Shapiro and an interview with him. He asked me to set up KZbin on his tv so he could watch the video with his surround sound system. We watched snowflakes sheeple and a few others and then my dad went and got the tin foil hat and the fundraiser T-shirt Memorial Day weekend. I actually like that his music videos are not the explicit version, because my 8 year old and 13 year old sons ended up coming and watching the music videos and my four year old daughter was running around dancing- it opened up a door for conversations about ways to be part of the solution and not part of the problem. That even supporting Tom and talking to each other is doing something. It has been a really cool 3 generations thing we do now when a new video comes out. Space trash had my dad in tears and he admitted he doesn’t think he will have great grandkids and he fears for my kids futures.

I would highly suggest a reaction to _Dear Rappers._ It was Tom's first hit, and it addresses the subject you were talking about at 10:30 I will say, you're probably about to get pelted with a list of his political songs. And, even as great as they are, if you go that route (one after another, after another, after another), you might get a little burnt out. That being said, _Snowflakes_ is the one that hooked me, and it's political. But, for a bit of variety, I'd suggest _The Way I Am (Eminem Remix), Ashes, I'm Sorry, Church,_ or _Best Rapper Ever,_ just to name a few. And, if having the view count on a newly released political song freeze for almost 2 hours, or having a "controversial video" that's trending, but doesn't even show up on the trending list, count as censoring, then yeah, he gets censored.

I was 13-14 years old the first time I even thought about my best friend, a somalian guy, was black. I always knew, im not blind, but the thought had never crossed my mind. He was my best friend since kindergarten... When I was 13, all of a sudden people started talking about race. NO ONE had ever talked about race before that. I had NEVER thought about my friends ethnicity before that. I mean, it didnt fakking matter to me, i didnt care whete they where from or what color they were. But its SOOO fakking true thst racism is being kept on life support by politicians. Without them, racism would no longer exist.
