I like videos where you take us along with you in the sourcing or provide a breakdown of your sourcing days. I have been enjoying the content and I appreciate the hard work. Also, that fabric shaver from Temu has been a blessing.

I think it's a lot harder for people who aren't branching out into different platforms. I see a lot of people who were ebay only sellers branching out into platforms like poshmark, as well as poshmark only sellers branching out into ebay. Then I also see people who are branching out from ebay into Amazon. It's kind of like how so many people have to work multiple jobs to make ends meet.
@TaylorExchange6 ай бұрын
I think some of it is their items are not selling on one platform and think another will do the trick. But ya it is similar to running multiple businesses.

Another topic could be employee payroll. LIke what is the minimum amount that you can pay an employee without filing taxes for them. And how would you file the cost of the employee on your taxes. Sorry I'm not trying to get too nosy into your personal business. I've just been considering hiring a family member to just tag, bag, and put my items away for me. And I want to avoid filing them as an employee if at all possible. Thank you again for your input, I appreciate you.

I have a CPA who runs payroll and I’m not going into all that on a video. But trying to hire and not follow tax laws is not a great foundation for the business. Best to contact a professional tax person 👍

@TaylorExchange6 ай бұрын
I think some could pull off 100k in a small place but much skill is needed. It’s definitely a difficult job to scale

@jaykrehbiel9896 you can advertise locally in the cheap sheets to buy clothes from owners who don't feel confident to hold gard sales or the place to donate...my local coin shop does a roaring trade with peoples estates using the same method..heck rag n bone men did it for generations but now we have the internet and local advertising spots.

Hey Sean I wanted to ask you about ebay item specifics. Do you just list using the minimum item specifics? Or do you have specific item specifics that you believe are of importance in selling more mens clothing? Maybe you could do a video on this topic if you haven't already. And if you have done one, maybe you could direct me to such a video. Sell 22 $12 PROFIT items per day. 100k profit per year approx. source for 2 hours, take pics for 1, list for 1, package/ship for 1. 5 hours per day every day. If you’re not about to source 22 items and get back home in 2 hours, this biz ain’t as good. The longer it takes to source the 22 the more you should look at another side hustle.

ask for suggestions of what people want to see...like the a to b of reselling..so many KZbin do it but as a seasoned reseller...I took ages to set up my off8cento photo, list, ship etc...to find storage for beginners, like totes under beds etc...ho to price to sell not to make the most from..how to build a cart to push arnoud coll3cting itemsntk ship like you have..going getting the items to build the flat lay photo station...list as you go to see the initial funding...what you should do first and cheapest to get started..how to study items, check clothes for pulling, repairs, wear and damage, how to yard sale by setting routes, etc...the bins o. setting uo time, when to begin at the bins after learning enough to not fill your bags with junk..ikea bags for sourcing, what items make the most for the least storage, should you diversify or keep it small...what is the upgrade path, should you cross list or stay and concentrate on one....buying online jtems to resell, buy stock from others resellers...etc etc..go back to the beginning..this spread out over a dozen videos...we don't all need thermal printers, kusky shelves, storage lockers, go to the bins from day one or walk three fett behind flippers at the thrift stores.....I'm seeing versions of this but they are from too far ahead...they don't start off from what they learn from but rather what they know now...a cheap shelf in your spare room or beside your bed can get a fair amount of items on it if you start off without buying winter jackets or dvd combos but t shirts, shorts, ties, belts, hats for the summer or thermals, hats and gloves for the winter...all can be profitable and not need a storage unit to hold stock

@TaylorExchange it does go on but to begin we get a thousand ideas but none of the yt'ers who have tried to make vids on it get it..they jump straight to advanced not utilizing existing items or cheap stuff to begin like thrift store totes...or going to upmarket stores to learn brands but also feel the fabric to learn, things that don't ha4dly cost anything but help.asking family and friends for stuff even offering to consign to learn the listing without spending anything, getting free boxes and maybe extra coat hangers for your clothing buys....getting as far down the road before dipp8ng in your pocket for thise who need the money more then the side hustle.
