Glad to have you watching. I'll say that's a rough start. Try not to think of it as a race to build a big store but ensure every item you pick up you are for sure going to make a sale and profit based on the sales history of the item.

I have an entire channel with advice. Watch a lot of KZbin from a handful of creators. Research sold listings to figure out what is selling and for how much. Don’t give up. The best thrift stores are typically in the wealthiest areas.

Better income areas usually have better clothes. Thursday Friday stores fill the racks because the weekend is their busy time!

Ya all good questions. Some sell the first day, others a year. I think it’s good once a year to take down some old listings and have a garage sale. Ideally everything you buy sells relatively quickly but sometimes items have flaws and take longer to sell.

Unfortunately, pretty much anything made in China has bad labor practices. Very few items are made in the US anymore. Most of the things we buy these days are from China. I actually compared products on Temu to ones sold on Amazon and Chewy. They were literally the same. The difference is that the buyer isn’t having to pay up for a middleman/middlewoman to purchase the product and list on Amazon etc and then Amazon taking their cut as well. A dog nail filer that I bought for $30 on chewy was on Temu for $8 - exactly the same, down to the photos on the promotional material.

Hey just a quick question, but do you know what to call these pearl snap type shirts where the snap button is almost like a mineral rock? It’s Roper branded. Having a little trouble finding out what it’s called. Thought you might have an idea.

On anything that is Patagonia that has that spelling of different companies on it I went on eBay and picked up a bunch of authentic Patagonia, Northface, Patches all I do is heat press them right on over the company name it sells a lot faster, and for another dollar or two into your cost it’s better than waiting for that special person or messing with the razor blade method in blowing a hole right through it… but only recommend buying those if it is a higher end piece of the brands that you are picking up
