You talk about letting people know what you're doing. I went to one of my regular spots and could've sworn they knew I was a reseller. But when I told her she said "You're a reseller and you walked by the women's shoes and didn't get anything?". After checking out, I went over and looked closer and found 9 pairs of Ferragamo shoes that were brought in about an hour before I got there. Had I not said anything, I would have left without them.

I was a VO artist for years. Pro tip: Hit the name of company on an upswing in tone, not downswing as you did here. You're blowing right past it. Nail the company name.

Are you familiar with Google Analytics? Many media companies provide analytics services so that a small business ad will be displayed at the top of searches. If you’re going to make videos you must also learn about Google Analytics.

I suppose but what I’m learned means most to business is having their friends/competitors complement them on their new video and ask about it. Conversions are the ultimate goal but sometimes businesses are already successful and just like the admiration from others.

I started buying and selling last year as a hobby. Every thing I sold on eBay was something that I purchased on eBay. Ended selling over $13k worth of stuff. This was my first year selling. Am I considered a business?

@@ahhReno If you buy something and plan to sell it and make money then yes it’s a business. Say you sold a few items around the house then no. Random garage sale once or twice a year then no. Selling $13k while you were looking for items to buy and sell, yes that’s a business.

Im really stressing out..i lost my job early this year and started selling on ebay and on Facebook. Didnt start an actual llc or anything..also havent been tracking my expenses. I did save receipts from most of the stuff i bought but man..idk what im gonna do..

@@adamm8506 That is tough. I would find a job and build your eBay business on the side. Get a dedicated credit card for inventory as wells a dedicated checking account for eBay. If you go to garage sales just withdraw from that checking account and use that money for inventory and log the withdrawal. CPA will help but if you’re not selling much just save the money and try to keep things simple. But ya look for another, then build this on the side.

Do you steam clean the wrinkles after washing? I've watched a couple videos saying list fast and don't worry about it and others saying they steam clean everything. If no, what price point would you says to steam items past? Thank you for any help.

If you are doing volume I never steamed. If you have the time and a small store it makes a difference. If are running volume and it’s $50 plus I’d consider steaming.

Don't list Amazon uniforms on ebay! They consider that just like a postal worker uniform and you'll get a vero. I know from experience.

I would say keep at it even if you just have a couple 100 items to sit on. It's still money coming in for you even while you sleep. You can still pursue other things just ship out like every 3 days instead of daily.

I used an iPhone 8 Plus for years and it did really well. My iPhone 16 pro was not working with eBay because it saved the images in a way eBay didn’t like. I had to covert all to jpeg. I’d look into a used older iPhone!
