In this episode, I break down the one simple trait that we ALL possess, but only a few choose to develop. This trait is the dividing line between those who live an average mediocre life and those who live a purpose-driven life.
And when you develop this one trait you will transform your life.

Key Points 🔑: 1. One extra degree of effort separates average from savage 💪 2. Like 211° water boiling vs 212° steam powering locomotives 🔥🚂 3. Suffering introduces you to your highest self 🧘‍♂🌟 4. Most avoid pain, but growth requires some adversity 🙅‍♂👍 5. Intentionally do hard things - races, mud runs, marathons 🏃😫💪 6. You find your higher self on the other side of pain 😖😇 7. Add manufactured adversity now that life is convenient 🛋🚶‍♂ 8. Keep seeking hardship to meet your best self 💪🌟 9. Increase adversity quotient - how much you can handle 💪 10. One degree more makes winners vs losers 🏆🔝 11. Compound extra effort over time ⏳ 12. Find defining moment, break loser lever off 💡🔨 13. Nursing a torn tricep, still training around injury 💪🤕 14. Most retreat at adversity, you must run toward it 🏃😫 15. That one degree builds legacy and reputation 📈👍 16. Must compound over time, not just a sprint 🏃⏳ 17. Create permanent lifestyle change 💡📈 18. Lived in Section 8 housing as a child 🏚👨‍👩‍👦 19. Sister worked for insulting boss at pizzeria 🍕😡 20. Promised her I'd make money so she could quit 💰🙅‍♀ 21. Now she works for me from home 🏠👩‍💻 22. That defined my motivation to succeed 💡🏆 23. Find your defining moment 💡 24. Just one degree of extra effort over time 📈💪 25. You can be the one to change your family's trajectory 👪🚀

Dear BK, I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude as I write this message. Over the past few months, I've been immersing myself in your podcasts and videos, and I wanted you to know that you've played a significant role in my journey to recovery. Just recently, I celebrated an entire year of sobriety on August 6th. Like you, I'm Armenian and my childhood experiences and traumas mirror yours in many ways. This past year has brought about profound changes in my life, and I attribute a great part of that to your guidance on my path toward my higher self. I've delved into the books you recommended in one of your videos, such as "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and "Think and Grow Rich." The impact they've had on me has been profound. I hold the hope of meeting you someday, and I'm thrilled to learn about your event in Costa Mesa this September. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and may blessings be upon you.

41, separated for over a year now. Officially divorced for about 6 months. Family shunned me for the divorce, my mom tried to financially ruin me and put me in danger of having my kids in my life. Had a gun pulled on me while picking up a date. All of this and more hit me in this last year. My kids are in my life 50/50, own my own house, made it to districts in Karate this last season (4th sparring, 3rd weapons form). Family is now trying to slither their way back into my life. Told them that they can f*ck off, and I'm going for a world title this season. Now I'm going to get some practice in before going to class.

Many people think that it's intelligence that is needed for success. But in my experience you need energy, focus, and a good mood. These are far better to old for success than intelligence. Obviously you can't be dumb or foolish, but energy, focus, and mood are the real foundations.

Success is one degree away. 1 degree separates water from simply drinking water to steam, a state that can power nuclear power plants. Success is just one extra degree. One more rep, one more try, one more phone calls.

Agree! Sometimes, the difference between mediocrity and greatness lies in that extra push, that one more attempt, or that additional bit of dedication. This determined action is important for achieving our goals and realizing our potential.

Agree! The difference between greatness and mediocrity is the response and perception of failure. The only real limits on what you can do, have, or be are self-imposed. Once you make a clear, unequivocal decision to change your life by casting off all your mental limitations and throw your whole heart into the accomplishment of some great goal, your ultimate personal success is virtually guaranteed, as long as you don’t stop.

The host introduces the topic of the one trait that predicts success and relates it to boiling water. 00:14 The one trait that predicts success will be discussed in the episode. Water boils at 211 degrees at sea level, but at 212 degrees it becomes steam. Steam can be used to power locomotives and other machinery. 💪 Choosing to face adversity and discomfort leads to personal growth and transformation. 07:24 On the other side of pain, you meet your higher self. Running away from adversity conditions you to be mentally, physically, and emotionally soft. Cavemen had both comfort and adversity in their lives, which led to growth. 💪 The speaker discusses the hardships they face during a project and how it helps them grow and improve. 13:59 The speaker describes the physical and mental challenges they face during the project. They mention the importance of staying alert and focused to ensure no one gets hurt. The speaker talks about a yearly hiking event they participate in to push their limits. 💪 The speaker discusses their determination to continue training despite a torn tricep and encourages others to face adversity head-on. 20:35 The speaker acknowledges the setback but remains committed to modifying workouts and continuing training. They emphasize the importance of facing adversity and not retreating from it. The speaker highlights the significance of consistently pushing oneself and compounding efforts over time. Summary created by Tammy AI

This episode spoke to me. Bedros reminds me of a Police Academy instructor i had 24 years ago. He and Bedros, could motivate me to run through a brick wall. Awesome & Incredibly motivating speaker. FANTASTIC!

I needed this now. Thank you Bedros. I had the hardest week, adversity in business and drinking. Today I came back and kicked life’s ass. Cleaned my garage, took all day. I sweated and worked and no booze. Now tomorrow it’s clean up my messes at my business. This video is an affirmation that should help me as I’m putting out fires tomorrow. F it. Let’s kick todays ass

I know you’re you for a reason so maybe you know something about triceps I don’t 😂, but I fully ruptured my right distal tricep tendons and I’d highly recommend that tricep surgery Bedros, especially at 48 years old. You lose a LOT of strength if it goes unrepaired, which I’m sure you already are experiencing. It’s only a 2-3 week recovery post surgery followed by physical therapy. So worth it, in the long run.*
