As a Challenger LoL player, Yamato understands how to counter over 1000 champion abilities and play against every matchup perfectly. That level of competitive skill and quick learning will give him a huge edge over Sardaco's casual WoW experience.

Watching Sardaco duel, he's still manually changing stances and he's simply too slow. I told cdank during the ziqo interview he needs to tell him to macro his stances into his abilities because he's going to get gouge kited. I got told I was wrong that he shouldn't macro his stances. Watching perp and mir coach Yamato and his progression. Yamato is going to abuse Sardacos inability to effectively stance dance and his lack of rage management. Unfortunately they're just doubling down on long term performance eventhough Sony himself in classic has used macro'd stances. The reality is Sardaco doesn't have a month to get better and he can't relearn binds as his stances are like shift modifier F keys or something stupid. I hate to say it but Sardaco is just not getting good coaching. He's cooked. Meanwhile perp and mir are focusing on achievable goals for Yamato and valuable strategies. It's just sad to watch Sardaco not having a realistic goal or anyone actually properly coach and mentor him.

You missed the fact that even if Yamato loses somehow, he has the suppost of Tyler1. Who would jump in for Sardaco? And also there are some late rule changes in favor of Yamato, there are two items banned for Sardaco. This was supposed to be a punishment for Yamato, but it looks more like a punishment for Sardaco. And they decided to limit poison cleansing.

Considering league and wow are both based on the same game (i.e Warcraft 3), I'd say a league challenger has infitely more chance of winning against a 20 year pve sweat. The transferable skills from league to wow pvp are way more 1 2 1 than wow pve to pvp. I've done mythic raiding in WoW since before mythic raiding was thing. Multiple CE etc etc, although never higher rank then 500 world. I would rather try make it into a top ten pve guild than win a best of 5 against a bottom ranked pvper. I know KNOW nothing about that side of the game. From spacing, CD timings, class knowledge, trinket use etc That isn't something that 20 years of PVE is going to help with. MAYBE class knowledge, and of course, keybind/class mucle memory. But that's it. I know damn well that even a month of practise wouldn't help me ion pvp against someone who plays a game like league at the highest level I'm backing Yamato 100%, even WITH the rules being stakced in sardaco's favour.

Rogue vs. warrior is a rogue win 90% of the time. Why do people think this will be any different? Not sure if challenger league translates well to WoW PvP; not a huge sample size for that. But coaching Yamato will indeed be easier. We'll see.
@lewischristie228522 сағат бұрын
literally fake news. warrior can easily dominate a rogue, rogue has no choice but to kite and chip until the kill window and is ultimately reliant on their defensive CD's (they also should not pop evasion into a warrior to avoid overpower/execute spam). warrior w key's and wins because they are so bulky and hit harder than any other melee. open piercing howl to break stealth, rend (to stop re-stealth) and hamstring, kite + intercept, MS, pool rage and reapply ham and rend if they're dropping off, and the rogue is dead pretty soon.
@Vhoxzz7 сағат бұрын
@@lewischristie2285 I'm sorry to tell you, but you are dreaming if you think warrior vs. rogue is an "equal" setting or that a warrior can even "dominate" a rogue. Rogue is probably the best 1v1 class in the game; warrior is probably the worst. When the players are roughly equally skilled, the rogue wins pretty much all the time. Rogue is also a bit more forgiving; you don't have to play perfectly to win. The warrior can't make a whole lot of mistakes if he wants to win. The example you give presents the best-case scenario for a warrior. But wait, your piercing howl missed. Down one CD. Meanwhile, all the rogue HAS to do is apply bleeds and stay in the dead zone. too close for charge, to far for melee attacks. It's pretty simple actually. Even using evasion in the dead zone isn't that bad. In the end it's going to depend on who uses what cooldowns at what time, other tools that are allowed, and who understands their class better. TLDR; If you "dominate" a rogue as a warrior, you're probably playing against someone who's way worse at pvp than you are.
@mcfarvo2 күн бұрын
I think you are correct that Yamato's skill ceiling is higher for PvP in general. I hope Sardaco gets the RNG (a clutch stun resist there, a big crit or proc there) and wins out in the end. He seems like a decent dude who drives his mom to church.

The undead wanted him dead and every other execution has been unfair. So why didn't Yamato go against Shobek or Pshero? To even allow Sardaco to go against Yamato just defeats the purpose because it's not that Sardaco stole the loot without trial, they didn't vote to kill him yet they did majority vote to kill Yamato. It's just stupid. It's a well shit outcome and I hope all the viewers rage if Yamato doesn't die and the undead don't try kill him again.

@liva99942 күн бұрын
I disagree with the assesment that challenger in league is a better skill than wow pve is. Challenger in league is a lot about quick reaction time, but limited choices. This is everything from limited abilites (4 + activatable items) to choices of items. (which has some clear counters and go-to options depending on who you play against.) Of course it's also about map awareness and contesting objectives. WOW Classic isn't really about that. It doesn't go super fast where reaction time really matters. Not saying it doesn't, but it goes a lot slower and rewards planning a lot more. Like there are no "flash" type ability besides a very few cases. (Like ice block, power word shield) Not saying there isn't instant-cast abilities, there's a lot, but they're often used in a sequence with something else(comboed), or planned. My point is that there's a lot of stuff in classic, and it's more a knowledge check than a reflex check. League is more reflex, and of course team contesting. (objective focused) which is a lot different from wow. Like most of these two players will prolly have the resources to win, it's just a matter of them remembering to use said resources, and counter the opponents resources best. It's not a game that lives or dies on its speed.

Also trying to quit playing the game) and while there are things that translates to the other games, I inherently know they are so much different. The knowledge part is though meh. Like Classic PVP and Classic PVE knowledge is two entirely different skill-sets almost. While remembering to use resources and knowing when to is a knowledge skill, it is still different between wow pvp and wow pve. And when there are just a 30 sec cd between duels that becomes even more limited. I believe Yamato coming from league understands the idea of holding certain valuable CDs and that kind of resource management just fundamentally better when it is on a timer. And the raw skill of being able to become a challenger league player and achieve that consistently, is an attestment to understanding funtamentals at a very deep level of things such as spacing, which is crucial to wow pvp.
