It’s a big world out there, with plenty of room for all of us to share. If someone doesn’t like the way something is done, just move on. It must be exhausting to constantly find the negative in things. I just turned 65, and had breast cancer 6 years ago, and it has really hit me lately how fast life goes by, and we need to enjoy every, single, minute of it. Keep doing what you do!!!

I have left so many channels I have loved. Negativity has taken over. I only have a few channels left to watch. It isn't the channel owner's fault in most cases. It is the negativity and scammers in the lives and in comments. At 76 with 56 years of crochet behind me, I love some of the new ways, not so much others. But, I never say I know the only way, because I don't.

Some KZbin channels have offended me, maybe intentionally, maybe not. I just unsubscribe. For most podcasts I watch, I am a lurker, not commenting. So I don’t read the comments either, so I am in the dark most of the time with the negativity. I agree, our lives were meant for joy! Don’t waste our short time on earth with negativity!

Agree, there is so much nit-picking! If ya don't like something, watch another channel! On a semi-related topic, I don't know how crocheters who do tutorials keep their crochet joy. I can't even imagine what goes into the work with the editing, the awkward way to work in order to get the camera shots, re-editing or even refilming when errors are found, then dealing with the negative comments. Kudos to you for keeping your crochet joy. 🏆

Just found your channel. Great topic. What I like about youtube with respect to crochet is the diversity and talent folks have. I'm 66 and love to see the variety of ways people work. It allows me to pick a stitch technique that I prefer. I've learned so much and improved over the years, thanks to these videos. It saddens me that some creators have to experience negativity. We all have the choice to change the channel if we don't like it.
