I love my CTOMS pack but it took a while to get it up and running, just as you describe. I hade to buy everything piece by piece. Having said that. I dont regret one dime. It is pretty awesome when you need a reliable, easy to navigate pack. Great product and great review 😎✌️

We get them issued by our employer, really great pack, BUT if I had to buy my own gear I would probably use a tasmanian tiger or something more "ready to go" and save some money.

That’s a neat bag but can you explain to me what is going on with the chest rigs and vests the Canadian Forces are using? I swear I’ve seen dudes using like 30 different rigs over this past year

There have been some new rigs being tested over the last few years. One of these was the SORD out of Kentucky I believe. Other units will allow personal chest rigs. Others wont. When deploying you have to wait and see what personal gear like that will be allowed.
