Which intern will cause him to believe falsely. Why would God start the rest day on the first day of the week? It makes no sense. The Sabbath is about rest, about taking a day away from the troubles of the world and turning to God, focusing on him for 24 hours. the world would be a much better place and people would have one heck of a lot more knowledge of the way God wants us to worship. He said, "Seventh Day Adventists are more scriptually sound". This means that you are going to have to search far and wide for a scripture text to counter what they teach, and it's going to be much more difficult to find one. If he takes this approach, he might wind up actually fighting against God, because Seventh Day Adventist teachings are founded on the word of God, and not the speculations of men. That's what makes them sound. In 5:11, the scripture he used is a mistake by saying Genesis 16: 23 when it should have been Exodus 16:23. This means he is mistake prone and he could have made some more mistakes besides that one. You can't put your trust in man. Put your trust in God, who makes no mistakes.

I listened to this particular clip several times before I made any comment. What pastor Kim is teaching is contrary to the teachings of Christ. See 2 John verse 9 and Matthew 5:19. John says your teaching, my teaching, pastor Kim's teaching must be in harmony with Christ's teaching. Jesus warned if anybody breaks the least of any of those commandments and teaches others that it is OK to do so, he will be called least in the kingdom of God. (That is, they will not be there.) How hard is that to understand? This is Christ's teaching, not Seventh Day Adventist's. All I'm saying is why not listen to Jesus first concerning these matters and not go through a scripture manipulating frenzy to support our particular doctrines? We don't need to prop up Jesus' teaching, because He IS the truth. By the way, Jesus taught keeping the Sabbath, too.

Well, then, according to THIS reasoning Cain did no wrong when he murdered his brother. Where was the "Thou shalt not kill" command back then? Just what was the supposed "evil" in the world that humanity had to be destroyed by a flood? No law? No sin. Right? Sodom and Gomorrah? Burnt on a whim. What did they do that was so wrong? No two ways around it. You CANNOT do away with the 4th (Sabbath) commandment without doing away with all 10. This poor Sunday keeping pastor is so blind and twisting truth which I think Satan directs within willing victims such as he. The Sabbath is not difficult to understand. It will never be abolished just like the rest of God's moral law. This pastor should take up the Catholic Challenge which was posted recently on 3ABN in 2 parts. The Catholic Church is challenging the Sunday keeping Protestants to PROVE that Sabbath was abolished and replaced with Sunday. The leaders in the Catholic Church said they'll never be able to prove it because it never happened! The Catholic Church said only the Adventist Church Protestants are true followers of God's moral law and is excluded from this challenge! There are other Sabbath keeping Protestants other than SDA's, but I think they were referring to a very large denomination overall. Anyway, in this Catholic Challenge to Protestants, the Catholic Church states the Sunday keepers are observing "tradition" not "the law" and that it was not THEIR Sunday to keep. @@charnelallan7159 1 Kings 2:3 is not saying the 10 commandments are the law of Moses. It is just referring to the laws of ordinances that God gave Moses and Moses wrote them in a book. The " law of Moses" also contained commandments e.g. commandments concerning how to offer burnt sacrifices, what to do during each feast/festival etc. One cannot honestly or sincerely argue that the Sabbath commandment is not part of the ten commandments when it is the fourth commandment. There is no way of removing it. Just accept that it is binding. There is no way of running away from it.

One more question: why do people go to work if the Sabbath was done away with? The 4th Commandment deals with both work for 6 days and keeping the Sabbath on the 7th Day. But manna was given for 6 days and none on the Sabbath.

The 10 commandments make a good moral law. There is no denying this. Even without the 4th one in there it is still a good moral law. Here's the thing (and I think it will answer your question): None of the other 9 actually tells us WHICH god has given this law. Only the 4th states "...the Lord created...." and Heb 4:1-11 also shows we keep Saturday (not just in obedience to the 4th commandment) but also in honor of God's creative abilities. Take that one out (or change it) and you have now taken God out of the law. Who knows Which god you worship now? Even pagan nations have laws against murder, theft, adultery, worshiping other gods besides their own. The Sabbath (as it actually is stated in Exo 20:8-11) proves it is our Creator who gave this law. It is His mark/seal of authority in the law. Now consider a counterfeit god in a counterfeit temple with his counterfeit sabbath day of rest and what do you get? Pagan Sunday worship and the mark of authority of the beast of Rev 13. Keeping just the part of the 4th commandment that says to work 6 days is not enough. The day of rest HAS to be in honor of the Creator of that law.....

Please explain Heb 4:11 within the context of verses 4 and 10. I'll give you a start: The word "Labour" (verse 11 - KJV) is the Greek word "spoudazō". It means to "endeavor with all our strength/might". And why can't you enter in? Without the 7th-day Sabbath in the law how do you know you are worshiping the Creator rather than the Roman sun god?

First off the commandments given on the mount, Mount Sinai, or reiteration of God‘s commandments because Israel had been in bondage for 400 years and had lost their way from the time of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. I would like this guy to explain to me Genesis 26:5 which says “because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charges, my commandments, my statutes, and my.“ Abraham was way before Moses, and if you ever read the whole book of Exodus, he would see that the whole reason they left Egypt was because pharaoh Harden his heart and would not let them Shabbat. Then he would see an exit 16, before the 10 Commandments were reiterated, that it was so important for God to have his people rest in him, that he gave them a test with mana raining from heaven! The Sabbath is a 10 commandment law it is the fourth commandment. This guy doesn’t understand the difference between the handwritten laws of Moses which were a shadow of things to come, when Jesus came they were taken out of the way and nailed to the cross. God’s 10 Commandments are eternal. We will even keep the sabbath in heaven, (and I’ll bet you anything you wanna bet it’s not gonna be on Sunday). Isaiah 66:23 “And it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord. This guy is practicing popery! When Constantine was Emperor, there came a time when people calling themselves Christians wanted to distance themselves from the Jews. It was kind of difficult since they all worshiped on Saturday-the Seventh Day. So, to appease the non-Christians and Christians alike, Constantine chose Sunday as a feast day. Saturday worship fell into more disfavor as persecution of the Jews continued. Baptists claim to be Protestants. Do they realize they follow Rome in keeping the Roman Sunday instead of the Sabbath? Personally, he means to do ill, but it will backfire. Like Joseph’s brothers, they meant to harm him but in the end look what happened to Joseph. As SDA, it’s a great opportunity to dig deeper into the scriptures and spend more time in prayer. Remember Revelation 12:12-17. I’d love to ask him if Adam broke the commandment and if so, which one? This is not surprising. Most of christiandom believe in sunday worship. Now imagine the same sunday believers also believe that the dead can come back as good spirits ( whereas SDA's believe that death is a state of unconscious sleep ), and those spirits tell them that Seventh Day Sabbath believers are the devils ppl just like that guy and we see how quickly they will turn on SDA's.
