I’ve enjoyed the tankless on my outback 291 ubh but when boondocking I can possibly see it being a issue takes a bit of time for the hot water to reach. Filling grey tank quicker with unused water.

Good brake controllers are also important if you want to tow near your maximum combined weight with a half ton too.
@JoshtheRVNerd2 жыл бұрын
They’re required for anything above 2,500lbs OR if the rv already has electric brakes regardless of the trailer’s weight Don’t skimp on safety stuff. Always just get a better proportional braking unit!

Nice to see your review on one of these. I like they have abundant seatbelts for the grumpy kid (or adult) to be able to sit alone and calm down. Or if you tow a trailer for the overflow sleeping. Stay safe and healthy.

The 7.3 is gonna change the rv game!! Its already doing wonders in the hd truck segment. Theres an alternative to having a diesel pusher paying $6 a gallon if you should choose to go that route. I dont have a tankless water heater in our 5th wheel but i worked for a propane company some years ago and saw how the home tankless water heaters are designed and its instant hot water. It is supossed to be the bees knees from what i hear! Very nice class A...thanks for showing us Josh!!

Stink pickle depository? LOL you just made my night! 🤣 It is tight closed, but instead of doing trailer two step, or as I prefer the motorhome moonwalk, why not just kick off the shoes and pretend the floor is lava? That couch looks perfectly walkable. Good tip about the brakes, I never thought about it.

Very nice unit. About the only knock against it is the limited travel access, which should be a high priority for a motor home. I think you’re right - the ‘televator’ is likely to blame. I also think the TV location is not optimal - it’s not directly opposite the recliners (but not bad!), and if the TV is up and in use, then nobody can sit in the couch directly in front of it (as it would block the TV). But that’s really it.

Hey Josh.. How do they expect for anyone to sit in the theater seating and watch TV? The theater seating isn't actually, across from the TV at all. It's in front of the entry door. Why don't they move the entry door to the other side of the TV couch and move it up where the entry door is located. Switch them and I'll buy it.

My thought is...yes it makes for good space at your destination but does it really need the driver's side slide? Not thrilled with the road mode either. Maybe swap the theaterseat & sofa so the televator is on the driver's side instead would make roadmode a bit better. I realize yud lose the fireplace but a pull out pantry in that slot might be a better idea anyway. Considering where those car seat latches are located you need to get back there easily. Someone would have to be back there tending the child instead of enjoying that scenic windshield view as well. Guess it's not the rig for me but still really like aspects of it, especially the full roomy bathroom in one room and all the storage.

So, if I were going down the road and the semi in front of me chucks a rock and hits the windshield and cracks it....how much to replace it and how long would it take?
@badgerpa92 жыл бұрын
Do you have insurance? You need to ask your insurance agent if you do not know your deductible. I would advise you learn about your vehicle insurance and understand your deductible and glass breakage coverage on your insurance policy when you buy something like this. It should be on the bill for your auto if you keep the same coverage you can read it to know the cost. Replacement would depend on where you are. If you are in nowhere Alaska you would need to get to a town. In a major city area like Las Vegas they often stock RV glass and it would depend on the place your insurance wants you to use and their availability. It is pretty hard to just guess what your deductible is and where you are when the stone hits the window.. I am not being sarcastic just using common sense.

@badgerpa92 жыл бұрын
@@bomguy999999 Insurance is important as if you have State Farm you probably have no coverage on windshield. If you want to know the price of a windshield do a internet search for it, there is more than one company that gives price quotes but they will ask for your insurance carrier before they give you a price. The glass itself would run over $1,000. There are people that had State Farm insurance on their Class A to find out they had no coverage and have blogs and videos you can search for. I did not jump at all just sat and typed the comment. Not trying to be mean just pointing out from what I saw working at a dealership years ago and peoples blogs and videos on current glass breakage. Many insurance providers cover a stone chip for free or a small deductible if it can be repaired.

Josh this is unrelated to this motor coach that you’re in however wanna get a message out to the people and I’m sure you could spread the gospel a little bit better than I I was in Flagstaff Arizona this morning watching a dodge ram pull a travel trailer speeding the trailer was wiggling like a dog wagging a tail 100 miles further getting close to the border of New Mexico the truck was flipped on its side and the RV was obliterated folks do not exceed the speed limit I’m telling you bad things can happen and it wasn’t even as windy as last week on interstate 40 going east speed will ruin your trip it will ruin your day and potentially your life luckily there was just one person taken to the hospital the passengers were OK but good luck with the insurance because they can go over that with a fine tooth comb before they cut a check that means getting the engine data and it will tell you everything from speed when you stepped on the brakes when you didn’t just don’t do it folks there’s no reason to be speeding while pulling a travel trailer fifth wheel or even driving in a big motor coach they’re not that heavy thanks Josh
