That rear storage is really nice! Just don’t see that with class C’s I also liked where the cooker hooker is located at. Lol. With dogs & kids I’d have to cover that pretty furniture. Really liked the color scheme. Every vent needs to be a Max Air vent or the equivalent of that. A nice unit for a solo or a couple the really likes each other. The minor niggles are off set by the price. There is a good amount left over for upgrades. I would like to see the couch with arms, even removable. I could also see this as you are ready to buy, yet don’t want to break the bank. It’s like a starter home. Sell and trade up later. The slides not being out for the exterior shots is not a problem as you give out and road mode with the interior. BTW, I am totally stealing the experienced idiot line.

OK Josh.... I like it.... For a class C thats well under 30', there is some decent space in here. The dinette/lounge is nice and the bedroom is decent with a walk around bed. Even with a bendy bed, you could always upgrade to a better bed if need be. The outside storage is decent as well, and the little table under the bed outside, right by the cooker hooker, is a smart thing.... However, there are some negatives... The worst thing is the kitchen counter space. I don't even see a spot to put in a coffee pot (coffee is necessary for life)... The bathroom is a bit off, but the engineers could fix that by swapping the sink and the toilet (but that would be hard to fix as it is set up now)... All in all, it is decent, but they could do some better things.

I have a friend who owns one of these and they are good short trip machines, but the cooking arrangement isn’t great for destination cooking. I get why they added the L island, but for the fluffier folks cooking is really tight. That said I love the fact that they moved the stove away from the wall so you can actually get a pan on the wall side of the stove. I also like the pullout for outside cooking, but where are you going to store that gas grill? The passenger windows are great, as we like to tour more than park. Overall it’s a great touring camper. BTW, as someone in the market for a RV, I really would like to see and hear more from the driving perspective. I’ve driven some Class As that where horribly loud and simply scary to drive on the interstate even though they were new. Our last trip totaled over 3k miles, and this is the norm so drivability is a must and I’d prefer to keep my hearing even if it means having to listen to my wife yell at the kids :)

Well yay! A class c to view! I do like this one - dinette is on the correct side lol - and it's a j lounge. I'm wondering about a slightly bigger model as it does have a wee bit of a squished feeling in the front. The bathroom is doable but wouldn't you think that a pivot door would work in this situation? A barn door slide would also be a great alternative which of course a person could do once it became theirs. Nice one! I hope to see more class c's from you!

I saw seat belts on the couch that is in the slide. Can you sit in slides during travel in a class c?
@JoshtheRVNerd2 жыл бұрын
yes absolutely. Motorhomes are made with the understanding and intention to be occupied in transit including the slides. Towable rvs are made with the expectation of using them while they’re moving so they don’t have the same build/structure to them
@tremjar13052 жыл бұрын
a lot of driver side access needs will be done with slides closed mostly anyway, except maybe that large rear compartment at times.. nice outside table since no type of kitchen or fridge out there, totally fine with this size rv, inside kitchen big enough for most things, and could use dining table if need a little more space, or even outside table, be outside putting the meatloaf together lol.... ability to put tv outside up front there is cool.. does have lots of inside storage and seating for something this size.. i could see this being a couples or single person full time rig easily..... am tall skinnier type... bathroom fine for me, may not like toilet cramping but i will fit well enough, i just wont read a novel while sitting there.... i kinda prefer C and A over towables in general, they are a bit less work, just pull in, hook up your hook ups, level out and open slides done, without having to unhook trailer most of the time to get it leveled correctly, and can still bring either other toys with you or a 2nd road vehicle for those places you will want to be driving around the area that does get a bit better than 10 miles to the gallon, like the huge 350... or a jeep you can do your off road tripping in, even going back farther more basic camping for a night that nothing except a 400k earthroamer could get to. just leave the less than 150k but still expensive as hell to you, class a/c in the less extreme safer camping spot for such things. rather than leaving your trailer there, and risking your 4x4 tow vehicle to do the same further up the worse road for the night trip.... if you wreck or ruin in some way your 4x4 tow vehicle you are F***ED, but if you just ruin the jeep type vehicle... eh drag it back to the trailer, worry about it when get home, continue trip as normal in your fully drivable and functional rv unit dragging the ruined toy behind. ... but one thing towables do excel in is price ranges, with no truck engine and chassis to buy with it, they are a lot cheaper for more room.... especially for those that already have that nice 350 4x4 truck anyway, or will be needing (or just wanting) something of similar size for other reasons as daily driver regardless. for someone like me... a class c would be the better purchase since i only have a car...buying the class c would be cheaper than getting a trailer AND a truck at same time, and i can just tow the car around.... until i trade it in for a jeep down the road lol. (and i suspect financing for a single class c would be far easier to get than a normal car loan for truck, then trailer.. since rv loans are 20+ years, not 4 to 6.... lower overall payments to qualify for)

So In road mode you can use the seats in the slide ? I thought you can't use those unless the slide is out? If you can what makes that slide usable when in?
@JoshtheRVNerd2 жыл бұрын
I have a video coming out on this. You can actively use retracted slides in Motorhomes unlike most towable RVs because they’re built for the task. Not all slides are created equally
@rosemarydoran99072 жыл бұрын
I like how functional this is for a smaller Class C coach. I really can't stand when a Class C has the corner bed that cuts off part of the bed and you have to really work to get in and out of it and heaven forbid you tried to change the sheets on it holy cow. The commode space is probably one of the biggest downsides of this RV but as you stated I think each person would have to get in there and see how they would do as far as fitting into that bathroom. I'm not super excited about the folding mattress but I understand it's in a slide so you don't really have a lot of options where that is concerned. Question for you the floor plan at the front shows the bed is 60 x 80 but I thought you mentioned in the video it was a camp Queen. Can you please confirm which size the bed is? As I'm sure you will recall I have an extreme disdain for camp Queen size beds that you have to buy special sheets for. I wish the kitchen had a little more counter space I didn't see a countertop extension on there but maybe I missed it. **Edit note I went back and looked at the floor plan at the front and it does show a countertop extension so hopefully it is there. I just don't remember you showing it when you toured the kitchen. I agree that there needs to be an exhaust fan in the kitchen as being able to vent out cooking odors in that small space is very important. Since there is power to that is it something that the service center could take care of in that situation? I do absolutely love all of the interior storage. I mean it just does not quit! It goes on and on and on and on. Like most Class C's it doesn't have a lot of exterior storage but you can certainly I think be pretty comfortable with all the interior storage on a longer trip with a family. You could put a couple of teens in the over cab bunk and then sleep one or possibly two small kids on the dinette and then the sofa is available as welI. I like the lighter wood tones and the lighter leatherette / pleather on the dinette and sofa. It definitely brightens things up inside. I'm not sure how Coachman compares quality wise to some of the other C's like Jayco's that are in a similar price point but this certainly has a pretty functional layout. I appreciate seeing more Class C's now that they appear to be becoming more available and I would appreciate seeing more of them along with class B's and B+'s if any of your dealerships carry them. Thanks Josh! Have a good weekend!

I thought I saw a vent hood over the stove under the convection oven, is there one there? it would take the place of the max air vent fan i'm guessing? too bad there's no theater seating, is that a possible option? a folding camp or regular queen bed doesn't bother me since almost every RV bed sucks anyway. at least it's a thick matress. and being a parent you forgot the TV being used in travel mode to quiet the Littles so you can focus on driving not at constantly looking over your shoulder at whos touching who in the rear seating! and the fact unless it's you having to ust the bathroom you never have to stop the road trip for potty breaks or snacks or drinks! just gas stops! ⛽️

The propane stove is accessible in a pinch. You cannot use the oven and you cannot use the microwave. Hey Josh! Always love all your vids! I know you can’t give prices for the rv’s you showcase cause things change all the time, but ( and I know I’m probably not alone on this) do you think it’s possible you could add the MSRP in your videos?
@JoshtheRVNerd2 жыл бұрын
MSRP changes regularly from MFGs no differently than anything else. Frankly it changes by the week sometimes. So unfortunately, no. I do my best to provide information that remains accurate as long as possible. Unfortunately With what I see from MFGs I’m not able to provide that lasting accurate relating to pricing. I’d prefer to. I answer this question 10x a day. It’s not fun for me to do so repeatedly. But there is no way to do it in a way that doesn’t cheese people off. At least this way I am not unintentionally making someone feel like they got set up for a bait and switch which is exactly what would happen with pricing stated in a video. I’ve learned the majority of viewers do not pay attention to when a video was posted and essentially do not care how much time has passed. Once they hear a number if you tell them anything else, then you’re pegged as a liar with no opportunity to explain yourself.

I can easily picture full timing in this one. We definitely like the L-shaped couch in the living room. We recently saw a review for a Jayco Jay Flight 38BHDS with fiberglass sides and liked the general concept behind most of it, can you think of/are you aware of something like that with the open living room and bunkroom dinette that doesn't have the fragile/vulnerable glass door and (of course) without floor vents? Either way, that might be a great model for you to review, we've never seen a bunkhouse built like that before! Keep on rocking, our favorite Uncle Josh!
