Unfortunately you will probably miss one the best areas along California's Coast. The Central Coast from Pismo Beach up to Big Sur has some of the most picturesque ocean vistas anywhere. California Highway 1 is still closed North of Big Sur but the area offers plenty of beachfront camping at California State Parks and County Parks, Elephant Seal Habitat, San Simeon (Hearst Castle), Light Houses, and many more. We love your show and watch every episode. Your puppy is a real handful, the tight quarters of your RV doesn't make it any easier. Good Luck!

If you ever get the chance, go camping there. They have many awesome campgrounds scattered throughout the park. When we lived in Southern California, we went camping there several times. It was outstanding! We had a blast each and every time. Before you enter the Park from the South, you go through a little village/town called Three Rivers. There is a gift shop and store called Reimers. It’s in a red building. They have some of the most awesome gifts, candies and souvenirs. Camping in the Sequoias is an unforgettable experience!!!

It would be so hard traveling with a pet. I have a cat, loves to ride, but mom never gets anywhere. I love her more than anything but I am thinking of her. It has been a very hot summer and the pavement is very hot for dogs to walk on. There is not many dog friendly places. You have to think about if you want to eat out at a restaurant and dogs can not go in. You want to see someplace, well some places are not pet friendly. Punkin and I just stay home where she is happy, and mom watches yt and get to see all the special places in the world that she can not go to, but Punkin is worth it.
