So everyone, I just wanted to say that I've climbed to Plat a few seasons ago and it was mostly on Mercy... This season I wanted to learn other heroes so It seems like I'm way worse than I actually am :c But I didn't rank down in this season even though my comp hours on Ana and Kiriko is the same as my Mercy. Maybe I'm getting to the Plat level on other heroes too... at least I hope so :D Also thanks Emongg! I learned a lot and will be using what you taught me in games!

I think a lot of people are unfairly criticizing this player. Like watching a player hit only 200 in MLB and going I hit 300 in high school I'm better. Yes they just kind of hang around pumping heals into their team while not dying too much....against plat players. You do it against silver players. It looks the same but one is harder than the other. I see an ana with a high heal uptime, rarely feeding, the hallmark of playing at your rank. My advice for them is to keep working on Ana and Bap, swap out the Kiriko for Moira in their hero pool and learn to play her effectively, and they will climb.

The vote for the elderly Fire Strike, while fun, was ultimately unnecessary. LUCIREM themselves got stuck on environment right after the very first team fight while trying to jump away from Genji at 1:27 With the amount of jump boost they had, Bap should absolutely have cleared the jump onto that balcony but they collided with the roofing part of the wall on their way up.

my main comment for this person is they need to nano their tank more. a tank is ALWAYS a good nano target, especially when you don't have a Genji who is able to pop off with blade (and sometimes even when you do have a Genji on your team). using nano on your tank to hold an objective while everyone funnels back from spawn can be huge, and sometimes, you just need to nano the tank so they dont feed lol so! using nano more and using it aggressively will help a lot. don't wait to use it all the time. initiating a fight with a nano on the tank whos going in is a very effective move and can win fights before they even really start. also, don't be afraid to play further back! especially when you're on attack and your team has almost capped third point. youve done your job, getting them this far, you can just hang back, keep them up, and help with damage. you don't need to overcomplicate it! this is a lesson i am currently learning with Ana lol 19:33 is a good example. you dont need to be so close, you even tunnel visioned on an elim and left yourself WIDE open to damage from the left side. play from range sometimes! range will keep you safe so often

god, i hate how c9 has lost all meaning. a C9 is when you lose because you left an objective YOU CONTROL to go chase kills. An UNFORCED error on your part. If it’s hybrid (where it is the capture point then cart for 2 points) and 1 team caps in overtime and the other team is 1 min or greater then the team that capped in OT doesn’t get an attack. In escort both teams will always get an attack. Hope that clears it up

Ranked is borked at this point because it still matches players based off of SR and not their actual rank. I play better than this person easily on support and am still in gold simply because of how much unranked i played before comp. It matches my skill with other players in gold of my skill, even though we are better than a lot of plat players simply because we all got stuck in gold and rather than match us solely on rank (which would mean everyone would climb or derank to their ACTUAL level) it just causes stalemates, saying "hey youre gold even though your actual SR is higher than the plat 1 player" and its why i stopped playing ranked

​@@zepchir Ana nade isn't CC. CC is stuff that affects your ability to do stuff like stuns and sleeps. it can also be stuff that displaces you like boops. Ana nade is, however, an area of effect (AOE) ability because it has a splash radius where multiple targets can get hit.

The only thing the teams are equal at is how bad they are at defence. The time to kill in low ranks is also really long, so fights take ages or never end until 10 people press Q. 32mins is crazy long.
