Tried Rising this August, learning curve is really nice - in 20 hours I made gold all medium trials and actually finished all 5 hard I tried with 1 gold 2 silver and 2 bronze. I mean I'm new to this game and didn't watch any tutorials beside academy and it really felt like I've made big progress. But up to medium difficulty trials were kind of fun with physics, lots of long and very creative tracks, and from hard every track is a constant challenge, series of short obstacles one after another - totally no other incentives than satisfaction. But yeah, it's super hard. I completed Alps in Steep just 2 days ago and the most difficult challenges with wingsuit flying down some rock formation have such a huge margin of error... I mean in comparison to Trials. Higher speed but much less precision. And no one really knows Trials, I didn't know this game exist before I made Ubisoft account. Even in comparison to souls Trials Rising has much more and very diversified extreme challenges. Fat Shady proly proud

My friend socially engineered me into getting this game to plat, and it took me a little over 2 weeks after constant dedication. This video actually helped my mental a lot to know I wasn't alone with what I was having trouble with haha. I actually did not have much trouble with Inferno, but the skill games sucked! I actually ended up doing Hill Climb with the turtle and I had to git gud with that. Also, if you ever do the DLC, prepare to suffer. The diamond requirements are really difficult :( it's on par with how difficult the base game is...

Trials is one of the most brutal, yet most rewarding learning experiences you can have in a game, imo. Being able to beat a Ninja track is no joke either, even if the real skill ceiling for this game is so incredibly far removed from white belt, that it feels like comparing the ability to successfully hold a pen with particle physics. Edit: *Pro-tip for learning:* You can watch _anyone's_ replay through the leaderboards, so if you're struggling with a time or beating a track, check 'em out. And I don't mean, look at the best time. The secret lies in watching the replay of someone who's ever so slightly faster than you. What did they do? Take another route? Use another bike? What are their inputs? Break where you didn't? Oh, they let go off gas downhill? It's all there. If one doesn't help, check the next guy. You have so much info basically tailored for your exact needs, if you do this, it's actually insane.

I love trials games! You should watch some of the "ninja level 8s" videos about trials on youtube. What people can do in these games is insane. I've been playing trials for 6+ years, have platinum medals on every main track in Fusion & Rising and I can only beat ninja level 3s, it's unreal how good these guys are...

I was wondering if I should start the newer trials games. I really liked trials fusion but im still missing 2 trophies in fusion. After watching the video I can confirm what they say in the psnp forums: if you have the 100% in fusion (or are close to that) the newer trials games are no more than a 5/10 :D I would love to see you give trials fusion a go because it's even harder and I would like you to feel my pain :D Jokes aside, great video. Can confirm this game can be brutal. I didn’t play any trials games except this one on Xbox and got to black belt, but can’t get past the first obstacle. I got top 30 on white, orange, and the first dlc one. Got top 50 on green and top 100 on blue. Blue is brutal. So is curse of the demon.

I don’t know if you are still trying, but good luck. It’s so rewarding getting past green. Cp1 is the hardest followed by I think it’s cp9.

If you do try again make sure you learn the two different ways you can approach cp1 as some work better for us than others. I had to learn the hop method, but some are better with the flip method.
