TRUE STORY (earlier this year I was playing a GBA rom hack version of Pokémon red and I was tryna show my friend this theory and how the soundtrack changes upon entering Lavander town and he seemed interested a bit , and after hearing the soundtrack bc he never really played it as a kid ..he stopped what he was doing and gave me a concerning look and said had a bad feeling . Not hate, and I know not everyone is into Pokemon (or any franchise, for that matter), but wanted to throw it out there for future script-writing. The plural for "Pokemon" is just "Pokemon". There's no "s" after. I've also heard (though I haven't deeply researched this particular rabbit hole) that it was the beta music for at least Green version (which is Japanese exclusive as the very first Pokemon games, even though they remade Green for everyone later on), and possibly Red version. Red and Green came out in Japan first, then Blue version later. Later on, when the game went to places like the US, they updated Red version to the same sprites and upgrades as Blue version, and shipped Red and Blue to everyone else pretty much. So, Green is fairly different in some ways, to what everyone got. The betas are kind of known for being bizarre for early Pokemon games, with some of the spritework and stuff.

This all reminds me of the ghost in the machine concept. Like are the games and codes we make contain a flash of life? Are the characters alive? Or since they operate on electricity, internet, computing etc, can actual ghosts become caught in the game themselves? Since ghosts do travel thru the same signals we use for Wi-Fi, microwave radiation, cosmic radiation, television, cable, internet, etc. I believe we don’t understand very much about the world or universe. I believe we treat everything like we are children who found their dads gun and are now wielding it. That’s how science and technology and medicine all of it acts the same. We never stop and ask should we be doing this. We just continue to research, create, discover without any restrictions or limitations on what we are doing. Only after someone dies or something terrible happens do laws and regulations finally even get discussed.

One kid didnt have one or any of those things unless it was over at a friends house never watched a movie except for Pretty in Pink after she read the book it came on the sometimes watched MTV after folks were of of work watched the mid afternoon afterschool stuff with the light music sometimes but mostly game shows on MTV that was all. Didn't watch tv most times not at home and never had a game thingy until after 19yrs old. God hurt saw a girl her age and thought it looked so fun. It was and she got further in the game than she did and found the secret places too. Then found out there was a cheat sheet book for video games but never bought never looked never saw one just heard about it. Some kids get stuff I guess a lot of kids do but not her oh wait Q bert she got that and loved it but no matter if it was on mute or not MOM could hear it and would make her stop. Not very fun as a kid at home more fun before and after school with friends. Outside.
