Its definitely an investment rather than an expense you're right, as generally we only use a campsite for the convenience of an electric hook-up to charge our gear, whether that be a phone, camera equipment, headlamp or even in your case to dry your hair! So in my eyes also, its an investment, it will pay for itself with the saving of £35 to £75 a night on a campsite with a hook-up. That's not to mention the backup and piece of mind it gives you in the event of a power cut at home with a fridge full of fresh food! Be canny for using in a shed down the bottom of a garden or taking to an allotment to do some jobs. The list is endless mate. Thanks for the detailed review.

Yes our Sun is an unlimited power source. But it is not always available. So it is only logical to pare the solar panels with that power storage bank. But on those long dark days, a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th method must be provided to refill/recharge it. The Mains and Car methods are accommodated here. But in some locations which are completely Off Grid, it's good to know that all the available different sources of power can be united to produce the one power (electricity) which brightens our darkest days and warms our coolest adventures.
