aside from the beating part (fortunately), the cafeteria incident reminded me of this one day in high school. i wasn't bullied, but i didn't really have friends at lunchtime so i would take my lunch under the stairs and eat there. it sounds depressing but it was actually pretty peaceful and i'd bring books and draw etc... i was found at one point by some teacher (yknow the kind where you can't really tell what their actual job is besides wear a lanyard and have a power trip?) and he shouted at me and told me eat in the courtyard or the cafeteria bc i was in an "unsupervised area". i said i didn't want to eat in the courtyard and indicated all the full benches etc and he just yelled more about "unsupervised area". so i had to leave from under the stairs and go eat on the ground outside bc shockingly being "supervised" (which we really weren't, people were actively consuming alcohol and selling weed in most of these supervised areas, i was eating a sleeve of ritz crackers under my nice stairs that day) didn't mean i suddenly was friends with any of the kids out there. weird day. initially i was just annoyed bc he moved me but then later i saw another girl who was actually bullied pretty regularly eating under the same stairs and i started thinking "wait why in the hell didn't that guy have a single question about WHY i was hidden alone under a stairwell during a traditionally social time of the day???" mans was so concerned about what shady shit i could get up to alone and Unsupervised and had no concern that maybe i was hidden away from the other kids for a seriously good reason. i wish i had a wholesome ending where i went and sat with the other girl under the stairs and we became friends, but i just got anxious that she wanted to be left alone and ran off. hope she's doing well now. very weird that jim pickens getting beat up for being lonely and leaving the prison cafeteria unlocked a random high school memory for me, but honestly several aspects of these prison simulator type games make me recall high school. mostly the crumbling building infrastructure and understaffed areas usually lol. anyways, love and understand this video! if anyone bothered to read all this for some reason, i hope you have a nice day - or a nicer day if your day happens to be going badly :)

Quick combat tip, if play you this in the future then it might help to know that if you press middle mouse button you can lock onto an enemy, this means you can run away from them then stop and time your attack so they walk into it making it easier to kill guards bare handed or with bad stats

Longer episodes are the way to go! Usually, Kevin does "one and done" episodes of random games, and when he leaves you wanting a part two, it's sad cause you know he's most likely moving on to the next. I like this format so much more. Also, I have a busy schedule that usually only allows me to watch, like, 1 episode a day. Now I can tell myself, "It's still one!" and take longer breaks, which is cool.
