Thanks so much Shawna! You help motivate me every week I really look forward to your videos. I’ve been trying to break into the blanket market forever. I feel like some would say I’ve been successful but according to myself I’m not there haha but that’s ok! Really looking forward to your nurse and teacher worksheet!

Thanks for the suggestions, Shawna. I watch your videos all the time, and find good ideas. I think that I will see if someone on FB will have a peek at my shop to see what they think I'm doing wrong. I'm in your "no friend left behind" group, so don't forget about me!🥰🙃

Thanks Shawna for this tuition from your accumulated knowledge. I find Niches difficult to stand out in and your video has helped me to focus and stand out in less served popular niches, also the part where you explain about staying within one product to become more skilled at it. I’m still on the struggle bus but I’m keeping in there! For any future videos, please can we see all of your process in one video, so research, design, keyword and tags choice, also mockup choice based on who you see your customer profile being for the design/product. Thanks again Shawna, Love to you and the gang ❤

I love this video. I’m having a problem though. I keep loosing focus on the product I want to choose. I have multiple ideas. I researched them too. And that’s a bad thing I did. Having trouble focusing on specific product and niche and starting listing.

Thank you for this! Just opened my shop April 1st with just t-shirts 😊 Do your transparent designs have to be different sizes for each product? Like a shirt is 4500x5400 on Canva. If so, do you have those custom sizes? 😊

What quality do you ask your customers for the photos? Because in a blanket must be very difficult to get good quality for only 1-2 pics to fill it out
@shawnalynn20839 ай бұрын
Hey there! I use to really worry about this but when you go to the print provider and drop the image they will usually tell you if it is poor quality so you would have a chance to reach back out to the customer in that case. The one I did was just a photo right out of my phone.

Hello Shawna, I still haven’t see much traction on my shop lol 😂 so I was wondering if you suggest I focus on one item (which I been doing) and add to different niches as well. If so, how many items per niche should I be adding? My niche is teachers and students so I thought maybe I could add dads and moms as well 😅 thanks 😊

Hey Shawna! Great vid AS ALWAYS!! So I have a few different products in my shop as I get bored with one; before I move on to a new one, I try to produce at least 10 of the new product and see how it goes, then I just continue the cycle of the producing more of the multiple products as my interest and demand sparks. The issue is (but not really an issue), all of the different products are selling to a degree. Should I continue my pattern of selling multiple products (all which revolves around 3-4 niches) or do you still recommend sticking to one product?
@shawnalynn20839 ай бұрын
Hey there! It sounds to me like you are juggling this really well, and that having the different products keeps you inspired and your momentum moving forward! I think you should keep doing what is working for you! I think this really only hurts people when it is frustrating them and it is slowing there momentum down. Can't wait to hear about your continued success!

Thank you Shawna♥️ love your videos and insights! I was wondering as a big seller, what percentage of your sales roughly comes from personalization? Also, do you ever design something simple and inspirational or is it always a specific niche? Thank you in advance🌸

This video came at the right time. I was getting so frustrated with the various products that should go in my shop. Apparel is what I want to sell (I love fashion). Question: when you say you sold T-shirts, is it general? Or was it brand specific? Say you sold only comfort colors? I was doing hoodies and sweatshirts as well and everytime I pivoted it felt like a step back even tho it’s apparel. So I’m thinking of honing in on brand specific to master it. But, would love to know your thoughts! How recent did you start incorporating sweatshirts?
@shawnalynn20839 ай бұрын
Hey there! I really started out with just your basic unisex tshirt and stuck there for a LONG time! So just Gildan or Bella Canvas would be the main two options there! Comfort Colors would be a great way to go also if you wanted to get into that! After many moons and numerous best sellers I decided to branch out to sweatshirts. I basically just took my best sellers and made new listings with them as sweatshirts for a long while. Took me some time to grab traction in sweatshirts that way and now I specifically do research for what is selling on sweatshirts. Hope this helps!
@gabriellalopez65379 ай бұрын
@@shawnalynn2083 yes it is incredibly helpful! I never thought about the gildan shirts. But I love the b&c and comfort colors, esp the cc! So I’ll prolly go these routes to hone in on and go from there! Thank you for all the guidance 😊.

I just wonder if the profit is really not much more than selling digital images of the same design you would sale on Etsy. What are your thoughts?
@shawnalynn20839 ай бұрын
Hey there! Great question!I don't have a ton of experience selling digital images. You might watch my monthly income reports to see exactly what I made in profit last year each month to get a good idea of how much I made and compare that to what you hear people sharing about the profits they are making in their digital shops. That might help you decide which direction you want to go!

Shawna-so do you always break into “niches” that have about 12-17000 competition? That is intimidating to me so I usually short for about 200-800 searches and 3-5000 competition niches. But I think I have to go with something with higher searches
