GoldBerg was too old when he became Universal Champion. LA Knight could have 1-2 runs as a main eventer. Chris Jericho has been champion, in his 50s and may still be. Whether people think he has the talent for main event, or not, he isnt too old. He never got the opportunity, so he may have never been able to reach that height or potential, not saying he didnt. I enjoy watching LA Knight, his promos are great. Knight has some great movesets, but it does feel Cena esque. I like that Nakamura could give him a darker character and plant the seeds for a heel turn.

Honestly I think they're trying to see if his hot streak is going to stick. Plus there is a MAD amount of storylines going on, that have been going on. He probably needs to move to RAW to take on the IC Champ and the World Heavyweight Champion. Smackdown had too many midcard superstars , ain't nothing wrong with that but I clearly see them reframing and revamping the directions they want to go.
