Having LA Knight face Roman Reigns was such a disgusting deliberate decision to stop his momentum which it did, that obvious L really hurt his momentum like who really thought LA Knight was gon win? NOBODY . That match didn’t need to happen. They should’ve continued building him up. in my opinion WWE got the roles wrong between Knight & Cody, knight should be at the spot Cody is in. Cody is portrayed as a goofball a pushover not just in the ring but in reality also. Cody is just a glorified mid carder.

Perfectly said! It was deliberate to stop his momentum. Knight started having merchandise that June and was the #1 seller in merchandise for 5 straight months. He stopped being #1 after he lost to Reigns. He was messing up their plans for Rhodes is why they had his momentum stopped. Even the night that Reigns and Knight met face to face for the first time they had later in the show Reigns and Rhodes meet face to face in the entrance aisle and have their first stare down since Wrestlemania. Now of all the nights to do that and Rhodes wasn’t even a Smackdown wrestler. Like you said we all knew Knight wasn’t gonna win but they couldn’t even let the Reigns vs Knight feud play out for one episode without reminding us that Knight has no chance because we are going with Reigns and Rhodes at Wrestlemania next year. I don’t get the catering to Rhodes and acting like he’s been carrying the company is a joke. We will see what they do with Knight this year because despite the lackluster booking Knight has kept himself over so this is the year he needs to get a world title.

I think fans have gotten behind Knight because of the mild nostalgia factor. Now nothing against Shaun Ricker, the man behind the LA Knight character, I really like him and I liked him as Eli Drake, but serious question, would he be as widely popular in the WWE right now had there not been a Stone Cold before him?

Yes, because of his natural charisma. Just because a gimmick is similar to one, doesn't mean it hangs on its nostalgia alone. He has that "it" factor that enhances any gimmick he partakes in. I'm sure with the proper booking, he'd get that Max Dupri gimmick over if LA Knight wasn't already his shtick.

I think people need to lay off the comparisons. It's unfair, because too many wrestlers throughout the history of wrestling have stolen gimmicks and movesets. Hulk Hogan being one example of _many_ who have. He has natural star power, and it just seems some people BTS just don't like him for some reason.

What’s the difference between what LA Knight is doing and what Jey Uso is doing? They are two of the biggest stars on the shows. The constant complaining about LA Knights treatment is ridiculous. LA Knight, Fin Balor and Jey Uso don’t necessarily need titles right now. They are legit stars who the majority of fans enjoy. They show up in any capacity and the crowd is immediately engaged and entertained. Everyone can’t be John Cena and have 10-20 title runs. LA Knight is definitely one of the best in the industry, he can challenge Gunther or Cody tomorrow and the crowd would eat it up. Knight could walk around with the MitB briefcase and everyone would love it. He’s fine! Some fans need to stop fishing for reasons to complain and enjoy some of the best times in the industry. YEAH!!
