This PS5 Secret Makes Your Console Silent

This secret PS5 silent startup makes your PS5 turn on with no beep sound! I can't believe PlayStation users didn't know about this sooner.. All you have to do is use the PS Remote Play app to turn on console a special way! First, go to your PS5 settings & make sure Remote Play is enabled, then go to Power Save settings & make sure all network settings are enabled. Then, download the app & make sure mobile data is enabled.. Always DISABLE Wi-Fi before turning on your PlayStation 5 or else the beep sound will still happen. That's it! Now you know how to make your PS5 completely silent when powering on.

Without turning off wifi, I have found that you can go into the main PS app and select a game and you will see a button to "Play on Console" and blue text below that which says "Play using PS Remote Play." Tap the blue text and console turns on without a beep 👍

Good thing the beep isn't an issue for me. Power blinks at my house often enough that I don't use rest mode. After the 2nd "improper shutdown" warning I never used it again.

Get a surge protector, the power going out should not be an issue, but it could come back with a surge. The PS5 still uses some wattage when it's powered off so I think a surge protector is a must.
