Hi guys, just to be 100% clear in case you didn’t finish the video, the piece was not missing! If you paid that much money for a puzzle, it would be understandably disappointing if it was, but it was right there in an envelope I didn’t see. However, just to cover my bases, I did ask Lazels what their missing piece policy is, and they said if a brand new puzzle has a missing piece, they will replace the entire puzzle. If you lose a piece yourself later on, they will cut a plain titanium piece to replace it (it is impossible to get the pattern to match without remaking the entire puzzle).

The part about if you lose a piece later on... is very good customer service. I wonder what it costs for an individual piece. I shall look.

I think you made it really clear through the whole thing that you weren't blaming Lazels! But that is a great policy for them to have regarding missing pieces...

@@Boxofcare666, yeah, it makes sense for the blue rectangle ones, but that center piece seem to be with the same pattern as the rest of them, so it would seem to require extra work on the company's part.

As soon as you placed that missing piece into the middle area I thought the center piece must have been intentional with such a beautifully shaped puzzle. I love that Lazels tucks those pieces away so you have a guaranteed satisfying finish. Amazing puzzle making and puzzle solving on display!

I do like that they didn't connect the final blue pieces to the rest of the puzzle, so you can leave the cutouts if you wanted to. I prefer the rectangles empty, it adds depth to the artwork. Same with the center piece, it looks so nice when it is missing ^^ I think more puzzle companies should intentionally leave out sections in the middle. It would make for a satisfying puzzling experience imo.

I encountered something similar to this in an apartment building I lived in. The box claimed that there were 20,000 pieces, and it appeared that it was a solid color. The box also said that tweezers were included. Now that I’ve seen this video, I wish that I had examined it more closely, but I feared it. Where I am living now, I’m “the Puzzle Guy.” So when someone discovered a single piece, they brought it to me. I didn’t measure it, but it appeared to be the same size as the pieces you displayed. It was an edge piece from a cardboard puzzle, and on the bottom side of the piece, there was a capital “B” and a partial letter “A” which I had only encountered once before. I took it to the puzzle librarian to see if she had that puzzle somewhere in her collection; she did not, sadly. I love your videos (I’m already subscribed!).

I don't know, I've been thinking about phasing it out.

@@KarenPuzzles I'm curious how much it affects engagement, ie, how many people just don't consider commenting without the code word. It seems to stand out nicely compared to a question of the day or a generic "like and comment" remark, but that's purely my own subjective thoughts on it, not backed by any data. Would be interesting to hear if there's a noticeable difference in videos with no code word, perhaps something you could include in a "how to youtube" type of video one day if you're so inclined.

I bought their Alpine puzzle and really enjoy it. Of their past puzzles, the Azure one looks awesome, wish I could get my hands on one.

Oh, that's pretty. I was so convinced the middle was supposed to be empty that I was just waiting for you to accept it 🤣 I was honestly a little disappointed once you found the final pieces, because I really liked how it looked with cutouts. Does anyone know a puzzle company that makes similarly fun shaped puzzles at a more affordable price range? Looks like it could be fun.

because of one of your previous videos, I signed up on Lazels site to be notified when they're dropping a new puzzle. waiting for my edition of their latest Joust 233 to arrive. the size of the pieces may bring me grief, but they're so beautiful I had to treat myself to one. thanks for all the fantastic videos you create. (when you don't have time or room to puzzle, watch a puzzler--it's almost as satisfying!)

I wanted to buy one, I actually signed in. But It was way to expensive for my budget.

@@sandrarodriguez7257 yeah, very pricey--but it was a special b-day treat for myself. it will be my one and only purchase unless I win the lottery; that same money will buy so many more beautiful and sensorially satisfying wooden jigsaw puzzles!

I am impressed! This video is one of the most beautiful you ever made. The puzzle itself is pure art. The way you did it symmetrical was so beautiful to watch! The sponsor and you cooking was so funny. Your (very American I have to say) excitement was so cute to watch. And Barbie as a bonus on top. Thank you for this spectacular video! And thanks for the cm! Greetings from farfaraway Finland. 😊
