I opted for First Strike because against long range matchups like Lux, it's not easy to consistently use aery in lane even if the jungle matchup is volatile. I personally prefer Future's Market but Minion Demat is extremely good because it allows you to consistently create favorable tempo on cannon waves. (Either deny a reset, create a roam timer, or create your own reset) All other runes are standard, if you are playing Syndra correctly (efficiently using passive) you will never require Manaflow Band. I do however understand if you're low elo and still want to take it for QUALITY OF LIFE. Otherwise, transcendence + gathering storm for free stats.

Do you consider running electrocute or its completely useless in higher rank?

Since rework, you get more consistent value from Aery or First Strike. Electrocute is not very flexible because of the three hit condition early game and ends up having similar damage values to First Strike in the mid-late. So against short/mid range matchups, Aery becomes best in slot if your goal is to snowball early game. Electrocute however is always useable mid-late, whereas First Strike still has the condition of starting combat first. First Strike is just better in Solo Q if you're playing for mid-late. You're always generating value even if you fail to convert damage to a kill. (And if its a boring matchup, you wouldnt be able to kill them anyways with electrocute.) It helps you hit your spikes faster which allows you to snowball out of control.
