The Zagato is very nice but for the price premium over a standard Vanquish I really don't see the point. The standard Vanquish is a beautiful car, and its a lot of additional cash to fork out for some subtle Zagato styling cues. Then after you're bought it its too valuable to actually use. Perhaps I am missing the point, when you have more money than you can possibly spend you need ego massaging toys like this to fulfil your life.

Zagato has a long tradition with Aston Martin that goes back to the 1960's. We think this Vanquish Zagato has the most beautiful rear end of any modern car. They are rare and very special. And yes, value does come into it - take an early AM Zagato as an example. A DB4GT might be worth £1.5 to 3m. A DB4GT Zagato is worth £12-15m. Zagato's are typically bought by owners who have multiple cars (sometimes many!) who understand how special and beautiful they are. Yes, there are cheaper car options and nobody really needs anything more than a VW Golf but if you love cars, you love cars.
